"I wouldn't change anything about it."

In 2020, Harry Grant and Paul Momirovski were part of a historic NRL loan deal.

Paul Momirovski, contracted to Wests Tigers at the time, joined the Melbourne Storm for the season, with the agreement that he would return back to Wests Tigers the following year. In return, Harry Grant would do the same — moving up to Sydney for the 2020 campaign before returning back to Victoria in 2021.

With Cameron Smith calling the shots in the number nine jersey at the Storm, his heir apparent, Grant, saw it as the perfect move for his career.

"I saw it as the perfect chance to play NRL," Grant said. "I wasn't going to get the opportunity at the Storm with Cam and Brandon [Smith] in front of me.

"It was the first time in the NRL and I wanted it to be successful because I knew how much of a great opportunity it was for me."
