Female athletes from all over the world are representing their nations or clubs at the elite level, but how would they go if they tried their hand in the NRLW?

NRL.com asks our NRLW stars some big-hitting questions each week throughout the 2022 season.

Which athlete from another code or sport would you like see play in the NRLW?

Titans captain Brittany Breayley-Nati: I’d like to see Charlotte Caslick back. I thought she was good for our game. Obviously, her priority is rugby sevens but I’d love to see her back in action because I think she can offer a lot to rugby league. She’s just all about eyes up footy, she’s fast and electric. She took the line on and got her team on the front foot and is awesome to watch.

Broncos captain Ali Brigginshaw: This is a weird one and it just came to mind but I’m going to say Erin Phillips, I feel like she is the goat (greatest of all time) in the AFLW and I’d love to see her on a rugby league field.

Roosters captain Isabelle Kelly: Probably [Australian rugby sevens player] Faith Nathan, I grew up with her and was best friends with her sister. I think she'd absolutely kill it over here. I've been trying to convince her to come across.

NRLW question time: Who did you idolise growing up?

Knights five-eighth Kirra Dibb: I'll namedrop my best mate who plays in the AFLW and say Libby Graham. Not sure how she would go but just want to put her name out there.

Eels co-captain Tiana Penitani: I'd weirdly like to see Ronda Rousey in the NRLW. Put her in the front row, but also she hasn't really been seen since she lost that match in UFC. Maybe Holly Holm, she'd be another good one.

Roosters forward Sarah Togatuki: She's already played in the NRLW but I'd like to see Charlotte Caslick come back. Back then it was only a four-week competition and I just want to see how she'd go with a longer season and being in the league system a lot longer.

Dragons captain Kezie Apps: Come on down Ash Barty, come across and have a run. I don't know where she would play but could you imagine?

Titans forward Jess Elliston: Easily Portia Woodman who plays rugby for New Zealand. I wouldn't want to run at her but I remember when Vani [Pelite] and Ellia [Green] came across and thinking how insane it would be if Portia did.

Knights captain Millie Boyle: I don't know how good she would be playing footy but it would be Ebony Bridges. She's a boxer who I was on SAS Australia with her and I swear she had three broken bones and everything was wrong but she kept pushing on. Any sort of scuffle she'd have your back and she's just a crack-up of a human.

NRLW question time: Which club is your biggest rival?

Dragons forward Holli Wheeler: I say this all the time, I’d love to see Sarah Hirini, she’s the rugby sevens captain for New Zealand. I’ve been in her ear the last few years. Every time the NRLW comes around I flick her a message and ask her if she’s keen to come over.

Titans halfback Lauren Brown: Now that she's recently retired let's get Serena Williams into the back-row. I think she would be a hit in the NRLW but she'd have to be on my side.

Broncos prop Chelsea Lenarduzzi: I'll go with Serena Williams for sure.
