Players from NRL squads feature in 13 of the 16 squads taking part in the men's Rugby League World Cup, with 155 players from the Telstra Premiership set to see action at stage and all 16 NRL clubs represented.

World Cup newcomers Jamaica, along with Wales and France, are the only three clubs without an NRL player in their group.

Unsurprisingly, it's back-to-back Premiership winners Penrith who have the largest contingent on show, with 19 players spread across seven different national teams.

Samoa boast the most Panthers of any squad at the World Cup, with six, while the Kangaroos and Kiwis each have three players from the club.

They are followed closely by the Rabbitohs, who have 17 players on international duty for nine different nations, meaning they are supplying more teams with players than any other NRL club.

The other 2022 Grand Finalists, Parramatta, have 15 players over in England, including three in the Italian squad, while the Roosters are the only NRL club with players in each of the top-four ranked nations.

The state competitions are also well represented at the tournament, with 52 players coming from the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup and Queensland's Hostplus Cup.
