Opening month

The Cowboys will start their inaugural 2023 NRLW season with two away trips in the opening fortnight for clashes against the Titans (Cbus Super Stadium) and Knights on neutral turf at Belmore Sports Ground as part of an NRLW double header.

They'll then return home to play at Queensland Country Bank Stadium for the first time in an historic occasion on August 5 to take on the Broncos as part of a double-header clash with the men's fixture.

With the match set to be a sellout occasion, it will act as the perfect opportunity for the NRLW team to be unveiled in front of their home faithful. The side will then make a short trip to Brisbane in Round 4 to take on Wests Tigers at Totally Workwear Stadium.

The run home

The Cowboys will remain in Queensland during Rounds 7 and 8 for fixtures against the Dragons (Queensland Country Bank Stadium) and Raiders (Cbus Super Stadium) before travelling down to Sydney to finish the regular season against the Roosters at Nestrata Jubilee Stadium as part of an NRLW double header during the men's finals series.

And another thing...

The Cowboys' first three games will be against sides who have been established in the competition previously, including defending premiers Newcastle and three-time champions Brisbane. While it is a tough start on paper, they should benefit by remaining in Queensland for six of nine games during the regular season.
