Less than a week after playing in Game One of the 2023 Ampol State of Origin series, several big name forwards have backed up their efforts to feature prominently in the VB Hard Earned Index Round 14 Team of the Week.

Blues trio Payne Haas, Tevita Pangai Junior and Isaah Yeo all scored spots in this week's team after their performances at club level while Titans skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui was the lone Maroons representative to feature.

Wests Tigers young gun Jahream Bula took top spot among the fullbacks with a starring effort in his side's one-point defeat to Canberra, with teammate John Bateman joining him in the side for the first time since his return to the NRL.

The Warriors enjoyed a big at home over the Dolphins, leading to Shaun Johnson, Addin Fonua-Blake, Jackson Ford and Tohu Harris all earning selection, while Cronulla duo Sione Katoa and Jesse Ramien were included despite the Sharks going down to a Kotoni Staggs-inspired Broncos outfit on the night.
