The National Rugby League (NRL) has congratulated Canberra Raiders Captain Jarrod Croker on reaching the 300-game milestone.

Croker will tonight become the 48th player to play 300 matches when he takes on the Warriors at GIO Stadium. He will be just the 18th player to achieve the 300-game milestone for a single club.

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo will present Croker with the traditional 300-game match ball following the match in Canberra.

“Jarrod Croker is a player that the culture of a football club can be built on. He has been a terrific leader for the Canberra Raiders, both on and off the field. Only a small number of players make it to 300 games. It requires tenacity, determination and sacrifice, year upon year,” Mr Abdo said.

“Jarrod will become just the second player to reach 300 matches solely for the Raiders. He is already the Club’s leading try scorer as well as point scorer. He is also ranked third in the game’s all-time history behind Cameron Smith and Hazem El Masri for point scoring.

“Jarrod is a legend at the Canberra Raiders and on behalf of the game I congratulate him on achieving this significant milestone and wish him all the best for the remainder of his career.”
