The Cowboys are riding high heading into Round 3 after recording their first win as a new franchise last week while the Broncos still sit scoreless on the ladder.
On the back of a starring performance from marquee signing Kira Dibb, Ben Jeffries' side fought their way to a historical win over the reigning premiers in Belmore on Sunday.
With the Cowboys' spine taking shape and the young forward pack growing in confidence the past fortnight, the competition newcomers have set themselves up nicely for the home double-header that's no doubt been marked in their calendar.
Meanwhile, after taking the game to extra time on Thursday before falling to a Lauren Brown field goal, Scott Prince's Broncos will be leaving no stone unturned in North Queensland after missing several opportunities to put the Round 2 game to bed.
Over 40 missed tackles and a 69 per cent completion rate ultimately cost the Broncos in the end, gifting the Titans too many set restarts and opportunities to take the ball downfield.
But with competitive veterans Ali Brigginshaw and Gayle Broughton leading from the halves, there won't be many sides hungrier than Brisbane to turn the screws and get a win in Round 3.

Broncos: The Broncos are 1-17 with no late changes. Toni Hunt is the new winger, replacing Jasmine Fogavini who instead is named on the bench. Brianna Clark comes in to start in the front row after clocking 23 minutes off the interchange last week in her first game of the year. Filomina Hanisi joins Hunt as the other new face in the team. Grace Griffin and Keisha-Leigh Coolwell dropped out of the extended squad on Friday, with Lavinia Gould remaining as 18th player.
