St George Illawarra will look to bounce back in front of their home crowd at WIN Stadium in Wollongong when they launch Round 4 of the Telstra Women's Premiership against the Canberra Raiders.

The Dragons lost 30-0 to the Roosters last week, despite making just five errors and completing at 92 percent, compared to the Roosters who made 12 errors and completed at 74 percent. 

The Raiders proved too good in the end for the Tigers in their Round 3 match, holding on to score a 26-22 victory and record back-to-back wins for the first time in their NRLW competition history.

Dragons: Maddison Weatherall will start the game and Angelina Teakaraanga-Katoa goes back to the bench in a late switch. Shenai Lendill moves back to the wing with Jamilee Bright returning to the edge after missing the previous fortnight. Renee Targett starts at hooker for Sophie Clancy (head knock) with Kaarla Cowan moving to lock, while Alexis Tauaneai switches to prop with Tara McGrath-West left out. 

Raiders: A late change an hour before kick-off with Kerehitina Matua to start and Monalisa Soliola going to the bench. Ua Ravu came into the squad 24 hours before kick-off and will make her NRLW debut in place of Emma Barnes, who will spend some time on the sideline after requiring surgery on her jaw this week. Makenzie Wiki (foot) is out, replaced by Alanna Dummett in the centres for her NRLW debut. Shakiah Tungai has been named despite hobbling from the field last week with coach Darrin Borthwick making limited changes after two wins in three games to start the season.

  • Raecene McGregor's kicking game remains one of the key attacking weapons for the Dragons, with the Kiwi half leading the competition for all kicks (41) and attacking kicks (26).
  • Dragons fullback Teagan Berry leads the competition for metres made with 663, while opposing fullback this week Apii Nicholls is on top for kick return metres with 199. 
  • Raiders co-captain Zahara Temara's second conversion against the Tigers last weekend saw her bring up her 50th in the NRLW.
