Broncos have knocked Penrith off their perch and moved to the top of the NRL's Power Rankings after dismantling the Eels 54-10 in Round 24.

Penrith have been sitting pretty atop of the rankings for five-straight weeks but the Broncos' biggest win of the season has paved the way for the Brisbane powerhouse to move back into top spot in the rankings with just three weeks left of the regular season.

Meanwhile, Melbourne's big win over the Raiders saw them jump two places into third in the rankings and hang on to their top four position on the competition ladder.

The Knights also claimed their sixth-consecutive win with a 42-6 victory over the Bulldogs, climbing one place into sixth on the rankings, the same spot they occupy on the NRL ladder.

The Rabbitohs meanwhile got back to winning ways against the Dragons and have moved two places up the rankings into seventh, one position higher than their NRL ladder standing.

Thanks to a bye in Round 24, the Cowboys were the big movers for the week, jumping three places into ninth ahead of their clash with the Sharks on Thursday night.

In stark contrast, Canberra dropped three places into 10th after continuing their worrying form, falling to a second-straight loss with a disappointing performance against the Storm at AAMI Park.
