Brisbane will be looking to bounce back this week against the Raiders after suffering a last-gasp loss last week where they let Newcastle steal a late win.

The Broncos were in control of the game for much of the match, but just couldn't shake the tenacious and talented Knights, with a late try and match-winning conversion from Jesse Southwell in the 69th minute handing the visitors their third loss of the season.

Canberra however held on against Parramatta last round to win their fourth game of the season, allowing the newcomers to maintain pace with the leading group on eight points and hold their place in the top four.

The Raiders scored 18 unanswered points through the first 20 minutes to set up the win, but were nearly made to pay for clocking off too early against the Eels who fought back in the second half.
