The last time the Titans played finals football, Jaime Chapman was playing for the opposing Dragons, scoring a try as her former team knocked her current club out of contention.
This year however, Chapman has played a starring role in a number of important Gold Coast wins, with the club on the brink of again featuring in the post-season.
Last weekend, the Titans posted an important victory against the Eels which pushed them into third on the ladder – however, a final round showdown against the Raiders looms in order to confirm their spot.
“It was important to get that win and (now we are) looking forward to next week,” Chapman said.
“We need to just stick to our own structure and focus on ourselves and we'll get the job done and go down and bring the two points back home.”

While the Jillaroos, NSW Blues and Indigenous All Stars representative back was riding high speaking to NRL.com following the win, having scored a hat-trick, overall, Chapman has endured a stop-start season in her first year with the Gold Coast due to injury.
Having sat out two games since making her club debut in Round 1 and missing most of Round 7 after leaving the field early and being ruled out with injury, Chapman was enjoying every moment she could with her new club.

“Having last game off, I was definitely eager to get on the field today and getting the win in front of our fans was amazing,” Chapman said.
“We had so many people turn up for us for our home game here, we got the two points and just to have a standalone women's game at Cbus (Super Stadium) was just amazing with how many people turned up.
“It was awesome, honestly, the atmosphere was amazing and I felt like crying, it was so nice; we love every single one of our members and fans.”
As the final match of the round, the Titans will know once they are at Canberra’s GIO Stadium what they need to do against a talented Raiders side who themselves will need to win big if they are to feature in the finals during their maiden season.
With the Titans just as determined to play on, Chapman was looking to see her team step things up a notch on the field, especially if they were to not only make the finals, but take it all the way.
“I think our combinations are coming together so well, (but) we're definitely still not at our 100 percent, so we still have improvement,” Chapman said.
“That's scary to think we still have improvement, because I think us girls played amazing today and I'm really proud of everyone.
“Our girls, we're so desperate to get a win in the Gold Coast, no-one's ever won a grand final and a premiership in the Gold Coast.
“To make history like that, that's our goal and we'll do everything in our power, each of us to do the little one percenters off the field and on the field to make that happen.”
