With four defeats in 2023 by six points or less, Wests Tigers will take plenty of confidence from their maiden year into the 2024 NRLW campaign with a number of big-name players set to shine.

Starting off with a Sunday afternoon game at Campbelltown Sports Stadium against the Raiders, Brett Kimmorley's side face tricky road trips against the Titans, Roosters, Knights and Cowboys before ending the year with consecutive Thursday night standalone games against the Dragons and Sharks.

Day-by-day breakdown

  • Thursday: 2 games (1 home, 1 away)
  • Saturday: 3 games (0 home, 3 away)
  • Sunday: 4 games (3 home, 1 away)

Turnaround time

  • 5 days: 1 game
  • 6 days: 2 games
  • 7 days: 4 games
  • 8+ days: 1 game

Only the one five-day turnaround for Wests Tigers, who welcome the Dragons to Leichhardt Oval on Thursday night in Round 8 after travelling north to Townsville to face the Cowboys on Saturday the week prior.

Opening month

  • Round 1: v Raiders (H)
  • Round 2: v Titans (A)
  • Round 3: v Roosters (A)
  • Round 4: v Eels (H)

A must-win game to start the year at home for Wests Tigers with another of last year's new franchises coming to Campbelltown. After that, they're on the road with tricky fixtures against 2023 finalists the Titans on the Gold Coast and the Roosters at Gosford before returning home to face the Eels.

NRL and NRLW Doubleheaders

Wests Tigers will only feature in two doubleheaders throughout the season with their team featuring as part of a Titans doubleheader on the Gold Coast in Round 2 as well as a Newcastle doubleheader at home in Round 6.

Can't miss game

Round 1 v Raiders, Sunday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium (H)

Wests Tigers started their inaugural season on a winning note and they'll likely need to do so again if they're to earn their first finals berth in 2024 with tough fixtures following their Round 1 clash against the Raiders. Canberra showed plenty of improvement throughout the season last year and will be a formidable foe in 2024. A sunny Sunday afternoon at Campbelltown has been a staple for NRL fans for decades; now it's the NRLW's turn to kickstart the year in style for Wests Tigers.
