Injuries force Maroons into Game Three changes

Queensland coach Tahnee Norris has been forced into making some key changes to her side as they aim to prevent a series whitewash in Game Three in Newcastle.

Fullback and co-captain Tamika Upton will miss the final game after sustaining a hip injury in their Origin II loss in Sydney, seeing Hayley Maddick called in to make her Maroons debut.

Sharks half Georgia Hannaway has also received a call-up to the Maroons squad and will come from the bench.

Other changes include positional shifts for Lauren Brown who will play halfback, with co-captain Ali Brigginshaw moving to lock, replacing Keilee Joseph, who has been ruled out due to medical reasons.

After coming from the bench in Game One, Destiny Brill returns to the starting line-up at hooker.

The other new face in the squad is new Wests Tigers signing Emily Bass, who has been added to the squad in the No.19 jersey.
