Adam Reynolds congratulated for 300 NRL games

National Rugby League (NRL) CEO Andrew Abdo has congratulated Brisbane Broncos captain Adam Reynolds, who will play his 300th NRL match in Round 14.

The halfback will become just the 55th player to join the 300-game club when the Brisbane Broncos face Gold Coast Titans at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.

Mr Abdo will present Reynolds with the 300-game match ball following the game.

“Adam is known for his leadership, his football strategy, an excellent kicking game and amassing points for whichever team he represents. He has made a massive contribution at both the South Sydney Rabbitohs and Brisbane Broncos,” Mr Abdo said.

“Since his debut in the NRL, Adam has had a big impact on the game, winning Dally M Rookie of the Year in 2012, an indication of the remarkable career that was to come. A decade later he then won the Dally M Captain of the Year in 2023.

“Adam remains the highest point scorer in Rabbitohs history with 1896 points and is the second highest point-scorer in premiership history. He was also the second player to kick 1000 goals in premiership history.

“Playing 300 matches is an incredible achievement and on behalf of the Rugby League community, I congratulate Adam on an inspiring career and wish him the very best for his future in the NRL.”
