NRLW Late Mail: Grand Final - Roosters dealt late blow as star ruled out
Amber Hall's bid to play in the NRLW grand final has fallen short, with the Roosters forward succumbing to a calf injury.
The representative star came into the side in Saturday's team update, however she was ruled out when the final squads were unveiled one hour before kick-off.
Jayde Herdegen comes on to the interchange as a result.
On Saturday, winger Taina Naividi dropped out of the side after sustaining an ACL injury at captain's run so Mia Wood shifts from the bench onto the wing.

Roosters: Star forward Amber Hall has fallen short in her bid to feature in the decider, with the Kiwi Fern ruled out in Sunday's final team update. Coach John Strang said they had given Hall up until Saturday to prove her fitness but the calf had not responded and she would not be risked. Hall has been replaced by Jayde Herdegen, who will make her NRLW debut off the interchange. A cruel blow for winger Taina Naividi who ruptured her ACL at Saturday's captain's run. Mia Wood shifts from the bench onto the wing. Aliyah Nasio is straight back into the second row in her return from suspension. Taneisha Gray is the 18th player.
Broncos: A late change for Brisbane coach Scott Prince, with Destiny Brill moving to the starting side to line up at hooker and Jada Ferguson shifting to the interchange. Reegan Hicks is the 18th player. Fullback Tamika Upton will line up for her 50th NRLW game just days after claiming a historic second Dally M Medal.
