Willie Peters took the wraps off most of his top squad less than two weeks before the World Club Challenge against Brisbane as Hull KR ran up the biggest score in the club's 129-year history.

The Robins beat amateur side Lock Lane 104-0 in the third round of the Challenge Cup at the British treble holders' Sewell Group Craven Park home.

There were 18 tries, with fullback Jack Broadbent and winger Harvey Horne posting hat-tricks, and PNG second rower Rhyse Martin's 15 goals was also a club record.

Hull KR switched to rugby league more than a decade before the sport was introduced to Australia.

Their previous record winning margin and highest score was a 100-6 win over Nottingham City in 1990, while Alfred Carmichael's record of 14 goals in a match set in 1910 has been equalled three times since but never beaten.

"This group can, I think, tick off a few milestones over the next few years," Peters said of the 2025 Super League and Challenge Cup winners, who are aiming to add the WCC trophy to their silverware cabinet before travelling to Vegas to play Leeds at Allegiant Stadium.

"Last year was a highly successful year for the club but I think we're going through an era now where we can hopefully tick off a few more.

"That's not getting ahead of ourselves. That's just the belief I've got in this group."

Horne, Karl Lawton, Jack Charles and Tom Whitehead all scored on debut - in a competition game - for the Robins.

The Broncos arrive at Heathrow on Tuesday to step up preparations for the World Club Challenge on February 20 at Hull's MKM Stadium.
