Vote for the RLWC2026 Team of the Week

New faces are set to be feature in the latest RLWC2026 Team of the Week after Kangaroos stars Harry Grant, Latrell Mitchell and Cameron Murray missed out on being shortlisted for the first time.

Each week players from the NRL and Super League will be nominated for fans to vote on their Team of the Week, drawn from players in contention for Rugby League World Cup 2026.

The RLWC2026 Team of the Week will be announced each Wednesday.

Melbourne hooker Grant, the IRL 2025 Golden Boot winner, and South Sydney centre Mitchell and lock Murray have topped the polling in their positions after each of the opening two rounds.

However, the star trio were not nominated for the RLWC2026 Team of the Week after the weekend's Round 3 NRL and Round 5 Super League matches.

Among the players in contention for this week's World Cup Team of the Week are:

  • England and Dolphins stars Herbie Farnworth and Morgan Knowles
  • Warrington playmaker George Williams, who is joining the Dolphins after the World Cup
  • Kiwis forwards James Fisher-Harris (Warriors), Jordan Riki (Broncos) and Joe Chan (Storm)
  • French teen Lenny Marc, who followed up last week's hat-trick to score an 80th minute match winning try in Catalans' 26-20 defeat of world champions Hull KR
  • Samoa forwards Payne Haas (Broncos), Junior Paulo (Eels), Jaydn Su'A (Dragons) and Jazz Tevaga (Wakefield)
  • Tonga halfback Isaiya Katoa (Dolphins) and inspirational forward leader Jason Taumalolo (Cowboys)
  • In-form secondrowers Hudson Young (Raiders), Jacob Preston (Bulldogs) and Liam Martin (Panthers), who will be vying for NSW Origin berths.
  • Samoan sensation Sua Fa'alogo (Storm), winger Brian To'o, who scored one of the tries of the year for the Panthers, and two-try Cowboys flier Murray Taulagi
  • Kangaroos speedster Josh Addo-Carr and Eels team-mates Mitchell Moses, Dylan Walker and Paulo

Fa'alogo, Farnworth, Cleary, Boyd and Ford were in last week's RLWC2026 Team of the Week
