70th minute: We are set for a grandstand finish, with Warriors centre Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad getting to the outside of Jock Madden and slicing through to score the try. The Tigers have defended valiantly throughout the second half but given the weight of possession it was only a matter of time before the hosts broke through. Tanah Boyd's conversion sailed wide and the margin remains beyond a converted try. Warriors 14 - Wests Tigers 22.
66th minute: With each defensive set, the Tigers inch ever closer to victory. The visitors have been superb throughout the second half and they've repelled another Warriors attacking raid. Time is starting to work in the Tigers favour as they seek their first win at Go Media Stadium in a decade. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 22.
60th minute: The Tigers have spent much of the second half on the defence and now they've launched another long-range attacking raid. It was Adam Doueihi who broke through from deep inside his own half, stepping past Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad to break into open space. Jahream Bula was looming in support and scored the try that takes the lead out to 12. In positive news for the Warriors, Leka Halasima has passed his HIA and is preparing to return. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 22.
56th minute: The Tigers continue to repel wave after wave of Warriors attack and have defended their own line yet again. This time they force an error from a hard-charging Jackson Ford, who spilled the ball in heavy traffic. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
51st minute: We're back to the Bunker after Dallin Watene-Zelezniak leapt through the air to take a bomb. In attempting to ground the ball upon returning to planet earth, the winger spilled the ball and the Tigers continue to hold on. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
50th minute: A double blow for the Warriors, who have spent much of the second half in the attacking 20-metre zone. The hosts had a full set of six on the attack, however spilled the ball to ease the pressure. The Tigers then worked the ball out of their own end, Jock Madden found the turf with a well-placed kick and Taine Tuaupiki was trapped in goal. The short line dropout worked a treat after a deflection was touched by an offside Tiger. In less positive news, rampaging forward Leka Halasimi has left the field for an HIA after copping a stray knee. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
44th minute: Now we're off to the Bunker after Jacob Laban chased a Tanah Boyd grubber into the in goal. Samuela Fainu managed to get to the ball in the nick of time and knocked it dead just before Laban could ground the ball. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16
43rd minute: It's now time for the Warriors to lodge a Captain's Challenge after a Tigers line dropout was ruled to have touched Dallin Watene-Zelezniak before sailing into touch. After a close inspection, the Bunker rules the ball touched a Tiger hand before hitting the Warriors winger. The ruling hands the Warriors possession in attacking territory. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
Kick-off: We are back for the second half, with the Warriors desperate to hit back immediately. The visitors are looking to pick up where they left off after scoring three tries in the final eight minutes of the first half. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
Half-time: The Warriors led 10-0 after 16 minutes and were cruising before the first half turned upside down late in the period. The visitors scored three tries in the final eight minutes of the half to turn a 10-point deficit into a six-point advantage. Remarkably, it's the first time they have led at half-time in New Zealand since 2005. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
Royce Hunt Try
40th minute: We're off to the Bunker with Royce Hunt attempting to crash over from close range. The referee thought he had spotted a knock on but the Tiger kept control of the ball and the visitors have the lead. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 16.
39th minute: The Wests Tigers have one last chance to strike before the break after Faaletino Tavana forced another error by Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in the contest for a high ball. 75 seconds left for the Tigers to strike. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 10.
Kai Pearce-Paul Try
36th minute: The Wests Tigers have a second, with Kai Pearce-Paul rewarded for chasing through a kick. Jock Madden put the ball up high, Faaletino Tavana leapt for the ball, tapped it back to Sunia Turuva, who offloaded to Pearce-Paul for the try. The Bunker is taking a close look at the contest between Tavana and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to see if the ball travelled forward. It was eventually confirmed and we are all locked up after Madden landed the conversion. Warriors 10 - Wests 10.
Faaletino Tavana Try
33rd minute: Faaletino Tavana has a try on debut after a piece of brilliance by Tigers halfback Adam Doueihi. The visitors shifted the ball in their own half, Doueihi saw some space, fended away Luke Metcalf before linking up with Tavana for their first points of the day. The Warriors threatened to run away with this game early but the Tigers are right back in this now. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 4.
30th minute: Mixed news for the Wests Tigers in the last 30 seconds. Warriors centre Adam Pompey has returned to the field from the sin bin, but winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has spilled the ball on the first tackle. The error hands the Tigers a prime attacking opportunity as they look to get back into this contest. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 0.
Leka the Wreka!
25th minute: The Warriors looked destined to extend their advantage but the Wests Tigers defence has held firm. Another Tigers error handed the hosts more attacking territory, but this time the Warriors last pass was off the mark and the visitors survive. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 0.
21st minute: We have a Captain's Challenge by the Tigers after they were penalised for a strip. The ball was stripped after the on-field referee had called held and the challenge is quickly dismissed by the Bunker. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 0.
Adam Pompey sent to the Bin
19th minute: A big moment in this game, with Warriors centre Adam Pompey sent to the sin bin for a professional foul. Tigers rookie Faaletino Tavana had caught a kick in his own in goal and started to run the ball out for a 20m tap when he was tackled by Pompey. Referee Adam Gee did not hesitate to penalise the Warrior and send him to the bin. Can the Tigers capitalise on the extra man? Warriors 10-WestsTigers 0.
Jacob Laban Try
16th minute: The Warriors have extended their lead. An error by debutant Faaletino Tavana handed the hosts another attacking set and it didn't take them long to strike. Tanah Boyd took the ball to the line, a hole opened up and Jacob Laban strolled straight through. Warriors 10 - Wests Tigers 0.
Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad Try
10th minute: The Warriors have the first points of the night courtesy of Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad. Coach Andrew Webster shifted the veteran from fullback to centre in a gameday switch and it's instantly proved dividends. Nicoll-Klokstad got on the outside of opposite Heamasi Makasini and had too much speed and strength for the youngster. Warriors 4 - Wests Tigers 0.
6th minute: First little win for the Warriors defence. A penalty and a set restart put the visitors on the attack, but the Tigers were unable to break down their opponents defensive line and an errant Adam Doueihi pass brought an end to the attacking opportunity.
Kick-off: We are underway at Go Media Stadium, with the Tigers chasing their first win at the venue since 2016. Jock Madden will link up with Adam Doueihi in the halves as they look to bounce back from last week's loss to South Sydney. A major boost for the Warriors, with Luke Metcalf making an early return from an ACL injury as the hosts chase a 4-0 start in front of a raucous home crowd. Warriors 0 - Wests Tigers 0.
It's good to have the Whānau here - Benji Marhall
Late Mail
Warriors: A backline reshuffle in Friday's final team update, with Taine Tuaupiki coming into the side at fullback and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad shifting to the centres. Ali Leiataua dropped out of the squad as a result and was due to line up in NSW Cup. Star playmaker Luke Metcalf's shock early return from an ACL injury is locked in a month and he will line up at five-eighth. Tanah Boyd retains the No.7 jersey after a scintillating start to the season. Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad (concussion), utility Chanel Harris-Tavita (concussion) and centre Adam Pompey (family reasons) are also back on deck this week, allowing Leka Halasima to return to the back row after filling in the centres the past fortnight.
Wests Tigers: A late change for the Tigers as well, with 21-year-old Samoan Faaletino Tavana coming on to the wing for his NRL debut. The youngster scored a sensational try during the Witzer Pre-Season Challenge to put his name on the map. Jeral Skelton shifts to the interchange as a result. Young gun Latu Fainu also succeeded in his bid to return from off-season shoulder surgery and has come on to the six-man bench in jumper No.21. Bunty Afoa is the man to drop out of the squad. Halfback Adam Doueihi will take his place in the team on Friday after being cleared of a hamstring injury following a scare late in last week's loss to the Rabbitohs. Less positive news for Jarome Luai, who succumbs to a knee injury and will be replaced by Jock Madden.
