Dolphins v Sea Eagles: Donoghoe on track; Faulalo fills in

The Kieran Foran era kicks off with a tough away trip to Kayo Stadium as the Sea Eagles try to turn around a disastrous 0-3 start to the season.

With coach Anthony Seibold shown the door after the loss to the Roosters, his assistant coach Foran has been handed the reins in an interim capacity for the rest of the year.

If Manly are to turn things around they will need to start with better ball security after coming up with 13 errors at 4 Pines Park last Thursday to gift the Roosters opportunity after opportunity.

Big guns Tom Trbojevic and Haumole OIakau'atu need to stand tall and halfback Jamal Fogarty needs to go to another level as a game manager if he is to take the points over Dolphins wizard Isaiya Katoa in the battle of the playmakers.

Team News

Dolphins: Kurt Donoghoe is part of the six-man bench as he nears a return from a hamstring injury. His last NRL game was Round 27 last year against the Raiders.

Sea Eagles: The absence of flyer Jason Saab (suspended) brings Clayton Faulalo in for his first taste of NRL action in 2026. Ethan Bullemor has been named to play despite being a late withdrawal last week after injuring his Achilles in the warm-up. Interim head coach Kieran Foran has resisted the temptation to throw young gun Joey Walsh into the fray, instead listing him as a reserve alongside Blake Wilson and Jackson Shereb.
