Warriors stars have dominated nominations for the RLWC2026 Team of the Week, with 10 players representing five nations among those up for selection after ending their 11-year losing streak in Melbourne.
Kiwis captain James Fisher-Harris, Samoan superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Tongan strike secondrower Leka Halasima and Cook Islands forward Marata Niukore are among the Warriors nominated after Saturday night's historic 38-14 win - their first triumph in 18 games against the Storm.
The others are in-form halfback Tanah Boyd, prop Jackson Ford and hooker Wayde Egan (Australia), lock Erin Clark (New Zealand), winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (Tonga) and five-eighth Chanel Harris-Tavita (Samoa).
Round 6: RTS says NO!
Each week, fans vote for their RLWC2026 Team of the Week from players nominated after the previous weekend's NRL and Super League matches, who are eligible for the 10 nations contesting Rugby League World Cup 2026.
The RLWC2026 Team of the Week will be announced each Wednesday.
New NRL co-competition leaders Wests Tigers are also heavily represented, with captain Api Koroisau, hat-trick hero Sunia Turuva, fullback Jahream Bula (all Fiji), halfback Adam Doueihi, lock Alex Twal (Lebanon), prop Terrell May (Samoa) and secondrower Kai Pearce-Paul (England) nominated after Sunday's 42-22 defeat of the Knights.
The Cowboys have six players in contention for the Team of the Week, while the Bulldogs, Raiders and Titans have five each and the Broncos and Sea Eagles both have four.
After having seven players selected and their entire starting side nominated last week, the Panthers do not have a single player in contention for the Team of the Week following their first loss of the season - a 32-16 defeat by the Bulldogs.
