Dally M pacemakers Jackson Ford, Nathan Cleary, Dylan Edwards and Scott Drinkwater continued their hot start to 2026 in Anzac Round while Adam Doueihi closed the gap on the leader with a stellar performance in Wests Tigers' win over Canberra.
Ford continues to hold the overall lead in the race for the game's most prestigious honour after picking up three votes for his 207 run metres and 58 tackles in the narrow win over the Dolphins.
Panthers duo Edwards and Cleary were all class in the runaway win over the Knights while Drinkwater polled six votes for his brilliant all-round display that included three try assists, 172 run metres, five tackle breaks and a try.
And Doueihi set the standard in the opening game of Anzac Round with two tries and 148 run metres as Wests Tigers had the Leichhardt Oval faithful in raptures with a 33-14 triumph.
