Broncos star Reece Walsh is on track to line up in Saturday's showdown with the Roosters as a host of big names push to return to the field this weekend.

Brisbane teammate Pat Carrigan is back on deck from a suspension, while Dolphins centre Jack Bostock is set to make his return from an ACL tear in Friday's clash with Melbourne.

Bulldogs: Enari Tuala is on track to make his return from a hamstring injury and will line up on the wing, with Marcelo Montoya dropping back to the six-man bench. The loss of Viliame Kikau will see Sitili Tupouniua take on a new role, the Tongan international to start in the back row, while Josh Curran comes on to the bench. Lipoi Hopoi is set for his first NRL action since Round 5 after Harry Hayes was suspended.

Cowboys: Teenager Mason Barber is in the mix for an NRL debut after being named on the six-man bench, while Zac Laybutt is back in the starting side with Murray Taulagi ruled out due to a concussion. Jeremiah Nanai has been named to start with Thomas Mikaele on the bench but they may swap on game day as they did last week.

Dolphins: Jack Bostock is set to complete his comeback from an ACL injury after making a successful return via Queensland Cup last week. Bostock was initially named in the reserves but will come into the centres in place of Trai Fuller. Kurt Donoghoe is also on track to return from a hamstring injury and is set to come on to the six-man bench. Englishman Morgan Knowles is due to return from a calf injury and has been named to start at lock. No such luck for Jake Averillo, who succumbs to a hand injury and was initially replaced by Fuller before Bostock was cleared for take off.

Storm: Perth-bound playmaker Tyran Wishart is set to step into the No.7 jersey after Jahrome Hughes was ruled out with a concussion. Craig Bellamy has shaken up his pack, with Shawn Blore, Alec MacDonald and Ativalu Lisati to start in the back row and Joe Chan, Cooper Clarke and Trent Loiero shifting to the bench. Victorian junior Hugo Peel will make his NRL debut on the wing while Trent Toelau is in the mix for a Storm debut and remains on the six-man interchange.

Raiders: Simi Sasagi is on track to return from a hamstring injury in a major boost for the injury-hit Raiders. Sasagi replaces Zac Hosking, who suffered a concussion, while Noah Martin has also been ruled out as he awaits surgery on both ankles. Ata Mariora will start in his place, with Chevy Stuart coming on to the interchange.

Chanel Harris-Tavita will likely drop out if Andrew Webster opts to promote Metcalf to the starting side. Sharks: Cam McInnes is set to play a greater role on Sunday after making a successful return from an ACL injury last weekend. The co-captain will start at lock, with Jesse Colquhoun moving to the interchange. Billy Burns also shifts to the bench as Briton Nikora returns to the starting side. The Sharks have won their last five games against the Tigers at Ocean Protect Stadium.

Wests Tigers: Jarome Luai will take his place at five-eighth after an eventful week that saw him unveiled as the PNG Chiefs inaugural signing. Luai will partner Adam Doueihi in the halves, while Suni Turuva moves to fullback after Jahream Bula suffered a shoulder injury. Bula faces 3-4 weeks on the sidelines. Emerging winger Faaletino Tavana has been listed on the six-man bench as he looks to return from a hamstring injury and could replace Jeral Skelton on the wing if Benji Marshall opts for a late change. Tristan Hope will wear the No.9 jumper after Api Koroisau was suspended, while Tony Sukkar replaces Kai Pearce-Paul (concussion) in the back row.
