NRL Fantasy Podcast - Episode 11
Dolphins v Bulldogs, Thursday 7 May, 7.50pm (AEST) at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
Dolphins: Two big returners in Kodi Nikorima and Jeremy Marshall-King however both slot in at the bottom of the interchange after the Dolphins' win last Friday.
Bulldogs: Cameron Ciraldo only makes the one change to his starting 13 with Sitili Tupouniua coming in for Josh Curran who reverts to the bench. Harry Hayes and Sean O’Sullivan also come on to the interchange with Kurt Mann and Jake Turpin both out injured.

Roosters v Titans, Friday 8 May, 6.00pm (AEST) at Polytec Stadium, Gosford
Roosters: Cody Ramsey makes his first start in the NRL since 2022 after overcoming a life-threatening illness. Ramsey comes in for the injured Mark Nawaqanitawase who is likely out long-term while Lindsay Collins has a head knock and is replaced by Spencer Leniu.
Titans: Mass changes for the Gold Coast with Oliver Pascoe in at hooker, Cooper Bai starting at lock with Chris Randall sliding to the second row and Zane Harrison named at halfback with Jayden Campbell shifting to five-eighth. Bai is the best pickup but all three could be great value if coach Josh Hannay sticks with the new look side for a significant period. Dropped to the bench is Arama Hau, Kurtis Morrin and Sam Verrills while Lachlan Ilias is in the reserves. Hau is an easy sell as is Sialetili Faeamani who has an MCL injury and is subbed in by Jensen Taumoepeau.

Cowboys v Eels, Friday 8 May, 8.00pm (AEST) at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, Townsville
Cowboys: Jeremiah Nanai suffered another injury to his shoulder and is out for a month with Sam McIntyre his replacement. Hooker Xavier Kerrisk is a chance to make his NRL debut after being named in the 19.
Eels: Two more injuries for the unlucky Eels with Ryley Smith and Will Penisini out, Tallyn Da Silva and Jordan Samrani the new starters and exciting rookie Api Twidle joining the interchange.

Dragons v Knights, Saturday 9 May, 3.00pm (AEST) at WIN Stadium, Wollongong
Dragons: NSW Cup star Kade Reed gets a shot at redemption in the halves in front of a home crowd on Saturday. Clint Gutherson is back for his first go under coach Dean Young. Facing a one-week watch from the grandstand, Luciano Leilua is relieved by the returning local junior and fantasy gun, Dylan Egan.
Knights: After a cracking performance in the nail-biter against Souths, coach Justin Holbrook takes the opportunity to name no changes to his line up with only youngster Harrison Graham returning on the six-man bench.

Rabbitohs v Sharks, Saturday 9 May, 5.30pm (AEST) at Accor Stadium, Sydney
Rabbitohs: Following the unsuccessful heartstopper in Newcastle, Souths coach Wayne Bennett has tinkered with the squad and made a few key changes. Jamie Humphries will make way for youngster Ashton Ward who is wearing the number 7. Jye Gray is fit to play and returns straight to start at fullback, still holding a low breakeven Matt Dufty will join Humphreys on the bench and is not a trade out just yet. Ed Kosi will take his first run at this year’s competition on the wing with the versatile Campbell Graham covering the injured Jack Wighton at centre. Euan Aitken could be an interesting DPP option as he has won a starting edge position with Tevita Tatola taking a seat on the interchange.
Sharks: Following their 42-point win at Ocean Protect Stadium last week, no changes are laid for the succeeding squad, with only Braden Uele the difference, posted on the extended bench.

Sea Eagles v Broncos, Saturday 9 May, 7.35pm (AEST) at 4 Pines Park, Sydney
Sea Eagles: True to reports, Jamal Fogarty is named back after just the one week off with a groin complaint, seeing the talented youngster Joey Walsh found back on the interchange. Given the need to work through head knock protocols, Kobe Hetherington will take no part against his old club, granting fellow former Bronco Ethan Bullemor his first starting gig in 2026 via the front row.
Broncos: Also held with HIA processes, skipper Adam Reynolds will miss the battle on the road with Tom Duffy getting the one-week placement at half. Antonio Verhoeven slates his second run at NRL level to cover for injured winger Deine Mariner, while Jesse Arthars is the man to fill in for the suspended Kotoni Staggs. Some hope for Brisbane fans with veteran Ben Hunt seeking an early return to the pitch following a knee injury and is named in the reserves. Preston Riki and younger brother of Xavier, Philip Coates are the other interchange members in the thinned lineup for the defending Premiers.

Storm v Wests Tigers, Sunday 10 May, 2.00pm (AEST) at AAMI Park, Melbourne
Storm: As the fallen outfit seek to quash the undesired losing streak, premiership winning playmaker Jahrome Hughes is cleared for play and back on deck for the Mother’s Day bout at home. This comes as a straight swap out for Tyran Wishart, who picked up an ankle grievance just 13 minutes into last week’s unsuccessful trip north.
Wests Tigers: Benji Marshall makes a host of changes, some forced and others due to coach's decision. It all starts with the expected lengthy sidelining for Adam Doueihi who copped a dislocated shoulder in the big loss to the Sharks last week. Doueihi is a must sell with Jock Madden in to showcase his skills in the No.7 jersey and Latu Fainu rejoining the interchange. Brother Sione Fainu replaces the third sibling Samuela Fainu who is facing up to 12 weeks on the sidelines with a foot issue. Faaletino Tavana and Starford To’A are casualties in the backline, Heath Mason is the new No.1 with Sunia Turuva pointed back to the wing and Patrick Herbert reprises his role at centre.

Raiders v Panthers, Sunday 10 May, 4.05pm (AEST) at GIO Stadium, Canberra
Raiders: After paying his two-week dues, Hudson Young is back on board relieving the now-injured Joe Roddy. Last season’s five-eighth of the year, Ethan Strange sweeps back into the ranks off the back of an ankle injury 2 rounds back, reverting Daine Laurie to the bench. With Josh Papali’i still reported for another four weeks off with a calf issue, Jayden Brailey is again named at lock forward, though he was shuffled to the bench ahead of kick off last week. Brailey is an interesting prospect as he can fill the HOK role, is incredibly cheap on the wallet, and will play the critical 12 & 13 Bye rounds.
Panthers: Still able to copy and paste last week's victors, Ivan Cleary notes the same squad to back up for this week's closing clash. With Jack Cogger suspended, Jack Cole enters the arena to take his place. Liam Henry also chases his first feel of the turf in 2026 with his inclusion via the six-man bench.
