Blues winger Jaime Chapman has praised the 'bloody legends' in the playing group and the platform set by coach John Strange for securing a history-making 'Bluewash'.

The 24-year-old troubled the Queensland defence all night in Game 3 on an extra special occasion at her club home ground, ironically only denied a four-pointer due to a desperate tackle by Titans teammate and Maroons captain Lauren Brown on the try line early in the match.

Chapman 'only' crossed the stripe once in the 2026 series but constantly had Maroons defenders on edge to limit open field opportunities and power plays that have glittered her career to date.

Now a bona-fide veteran after her fourth series, Chapman heaped praise on her teammates and coach for all the efforts made to go one step further than 2025 and secure a clean sweep.

"Yeah, give it to the girls. We worked really hard having last year only winning two of the three and letting Queensland win that last one it was a fire burning in our stomach and we knew what we had to do and we went out there and got the job done and made history," she said.

Chapman gives Owen zero space

"It was a really tough six-week preseason block and I'm really proud of all the girls who went out tonight.

"I think Strangey sets us up perfectly having that six-week preseason and he prepared us well for game fitness and there's nothing like winning Origin, so to go 3-0, I can't explain the feeling I'm feeling right now."

Once it sinks in, you can be sure Chapman and the band of Blue will be reliving it over and over.

Maroons v Blues - Game III, 2026

"The group of girls is so amazing and so connected and no one can take away our first ever 'Bluewash'," she said.

"Looking back on it in a few years' time I just can't wait for the reunions of this group because they're bloody legends and such amazing people and when my days are over and people fill my boots I know that we made history and I was a part of that, so very grateful.

"I give it all to Strangey. He has set the platform for us as athletes and as female athletes as well.

"He's taken us to a whole other level and we obviously all love him and he's a great coach, but he's pushed so much and he never gets the recognition that he deserves.

"All of us girls know it, but I hope everyone else understands that how hard he pushes for us behind the scenes for us to achieve what we did tonight."

"We're all just so stoked to get this win and make it 3-0."

Chapman, who left the field late with a calf cramp, said it was a privilege to be able to lift up the shield in front of her community, family and fans "like no other" who braved another wet weather-threatening night to help the team get over the line.

Now she plans to bottle up the State of Origin energy and take it back to Titans preseason training leading into their season opener at Cbus Super Stadium against the Roosters on July 4.

"This job's done, I was in New South Wales mind this last few months and now we get back into the grind with Titans and work on our connections and we can be friends now," Chapman said.

"I know it's 'mate vs mate', but there's nothing like Origin, it's such a tough game and yeah we give it to each other on the field but as soon as it comes to Titans we're all going to mix really well and really excited to get alongside Loz (Lauren Brown) on the same side as her.

"There's no other game like Origin and I hope that NRLW can get to that (level) as well. I don't doubt that our Titans team can be like that.

"I'm really excited for this year. There's a few new signings, Indie Bostock, Teagan Levi, we've got some absolute guns coming into the team so I'm really excited to see them lead and show everyone in the Gold Coast what they've got."
