On the back of the stunning success of Origin One, Round 13 of the NRL Telstra Premiership smashed viewership records as the Dragons broke their drought and the Panthers and Warriors put an exclamation point on a sizzling weekend.

With a tick over five million viewers tuning in across the weekend, this was the most watched Round 13 of all time and a 16% jump from the same round last year.

The Dragons kicked off a sensational Sunday with their first win in 295 days, upsetting premiers Brisbane in front of 42,275 fans at Suncorp Stadium.

The total viewership on Foxtel and Kayo was up a whopping 48% YoY from the corresponding match in Round 13 last year.

That makes the Broncos-Dragons clash the No.1 most viewed Sunday early afternoon fixture to date in 2026.

Fox viewership across Round 13 was up almost 20% YoY while Nine viewership was up 5.9% YoY.

Total viewership for Sunday's second match between the Raiders and Cowboys was up 11% YoY while the 6.15pm match had an increase in total viewership of 9% YoY as the Panthers and Warriors went toe to toe in a potential grand final preview.

Headlined by the bumper crowd in Brisbane and another cracking turnout by the Knights faithful in Newcastle, total attendance was up 23% YoY as fans carried the spirit of Origin into club land.
