Locked in: Hannay to unleash homegrown 13

The Titans will experience a special milestone on Sunday against the Wests Tigers with all 13 members of the starting line-up one-club players.

Adding to that, 10 of those in the run-on side are graduates of the club's pathways program and with Jett Liu to play in his maiden NRL game, 16 of the 1-17 will have debuted for the Gold Coast.

New recruit Kurtis Morrin - one of the club's best this season - is the only player to have played NRL elsewhere.

"We're really proud of that stat," Titans coach Josh Hannay said.

"It points to the clear direction of where we are and where we're heading as a club.

"We want a team that not only plays on the Gold Coast but plays for the Gold Coast.

"When you have such a large number of guys make their debut for a club and come through together at the same pace and at the same time, you stand a chance of developing something special and creating something special.

"Last weekend and the performance and victory against Brisbane crystallised it... this team is going to be special, and I don't think it's going to be in the too distant future."

Hannay has made no changes to his game day squad with Michael Molo remaining as the reserve for their trip to Tiger town.

Kick-off is at 4.05pm on Sunday at Leichhardt Oval, Sydney.
