NSW v Qld Under 19s women

Post-game presentation: It's time for the post-game formalities with Queensland legend Nat Dwyer presenting the Player of the Match Medal named in her honour. Unsurprisingly, halfback Lilianah Lewis has been awarded the Nat Dwyer Medal for player of the match, much to the delight of her teammates. The Maroons have now hoisted the Origin shield and the celebrations can begin. Blues 18 - Maroons 22.

Full-time: The Maroons have snapped the Blues two-game winning streak to claim their first Under 19 Women's Origin victory since 2023. The four-point win was built on the back of a superb defensively display, with Queensland repeatedly denying the Blues attack. Maroons halfback Lilianah Lewis pulled the strings with ball in hand and came up with the winning try with just five minutes to play. Blues 18 - Maroons 22.

56th minute: Lilianah Lewis has had her hand on everything in the second half and she may have just scored the match-winner for the Maroons. The Blues were on the back foot defensively, Lewis sensed it was her time to strike and she charged on to the ball to score under the posts. The Maroons have their first lead of the night and there is less than four minutes on the clock. Blues 18 - Maroons 22.

The race is on

53rd minute: Harlem Walker has come agonisingly close to scoring her second try in the space of four minutes. The prop produced a barnstorming carry to get over the line but the Blues scrambled desperately to hold the ball up and prevent Walker from grounding the ball. Blues 18 - Maroons 16.

Harlem Walker Try

50th minute: We are set for a grandstand finish as Queensland hit back to cut the deficit. Harlem Walker dropped in underneath halfback Lilianah Lewis and burst through the NSW defensive line, breaking multiple tackles on the way to the try line. The margin is just two with 10 minutes to play. Blues 18 - Maroons 16.

Kiara McGregor Try

45th minute: The Blues have finally broken through and extended their lead. NSW had multiple attacking sets of six on the Maroons line, the visitors initially held firm but the gaps started to open up as fatigue grew. NSW halfback Kiara McGregor looked up, spotted a hole, threw a dummy and slid straight through to score the try. The halfback converted her own try to take the lead beyond a converted try. Blues 18 - Maroons 10.

All power

41st minute: Another trip to the Bunker with Blues forward Stella Lewis attempting to crash her way over for a try but she looks to have been held up by the Queensland defence. The on-field ruling is no try and replays supporting this call. The Maroons continue to hold firm. Blues 12 - Maroons 10.

39th minute: Queensland halfback Lilianah Lewis is really coming into her own in this second half and has taken control of the contest. The playmaker produced a surging run on the last tackle before putting the ball on the toe, regathering and forcing her way over the try line. The NSW defenders managed to hold her up to prevent the try. Blues 12 - Maroons 10.

Lewis in space

35th minute: NSW have dominated the opening exchanges of the second half and spent the past few minutes in attacking territory but they have not been able to find a way through the Maroons defensive line. Queensland Halfback Lilianah Lewis picked up a loose ball and made a break to put her side on the attack but the Blues defence scrambled well to get back and hold firm. Blues 12 - Maroons 10.

Kick-off: We're back for the second half, with this game hanging in the balance. The Blues hold a two-point lead but Queensland have been dangerous with ball in hand and will fancy their chances of running over the top of their rivals. Blues 12 - Maroons 10.

Lewis shows her skill

Half-time: That is time on an entertaining, fast-paced half of football, with both teams making plenty of metres with ball in hand. The game is evenly poised, each side crossing for two tries but it's a two-point advantage for the Blues. NSW had a late chance to extend their lead in the final minutes, however the Queensland defence was up to the task. Blues 12 - Maroons 10.

Deleni Paitai Try

23rd minute: These two teams keep going back and forth and it's Queensland's turn to turn attack into points. Five-eighth Mia Byrnes took the ball to the defensive line before linking up with a charging Deleni Paitai who crashed over. Blues 12 - Maroons 10.

21st minute: We're back to the Bunker with the Blues claiming a try however the referee has sent it up no try due to a suspected obstruction. The NSW lead runner made contact with the Maroons defender and it's a simple ruling for the Bunker. Blues 12 - Maroons 6.

19th minute: We're off to the Bunker after Queensland centre Lilliana Nati charged on to the ball only to be met by a big Logan Flether shot. The outside back spilled the ball in the contact and NSW defend their own line. Blues 12 - Maroons 6.

Taylah Falaniko Try

15th minute: The see-sawing nature of this contest continues, with the Blues breaking through to hit the front. A Queensland error the set after points handed NSW a chance to score and they capitalised. Taylah Falaniko charged on to an outstanding Khyliah Gray pass and broke through multiple tackles to get the ball down between the sticks. Blues 12 - Maroons 6.

Kiara Wright Try

12th minute: Queensland have hit straight back. The Maroons continued to charge on the ball with intensity and Kiara Wright eventually crashed over with a powerful carry. The conversion is successful and we are all locked up. Blues 6 - Maroons 6.

Shot!

10th minute: It's time for the Blues to defend their line now, with Queensland rolling down the field and coming agonisingly close to scoring before earning a repeat set when a NSW defender knocked the ball down. Blues 6 - Maroons 0.

Freedom Crichton Ropati Try

5th minute: The Maroons defended the first set on their own line but another error catching a kick handed NSW a second chance to strike and this time they capitalised. The Blues attacked to the right, fullback Mia Vaotuua produced a skilful pass and Freedom Crichton Ropati scored in the corner. Kiara McGregor nailed the sideline conversion and the hosts are up by six. Blues 6 - Maroons 0.

Kick-off: We are underway at North Sydney Oval, with the next generation of NRLW stars set to put on a show. NSW have dominated the last couple of years and will be led by Khyliah Gray, while fullback Mia Vaotuua is one to keep an eye on. Emerging playmaker Lilianah Lewis will pull the strings for Queensland, with Gabriella Savage, younger sister of Raiders star Xavier, lining up on the wing.
