The Dolphins are out to rebound from a last-start loss to the Knights when they return to Redcliffe to host the in-form Sharks.
The Saturday afternoon showdown will see two premiership contenders face off at Kayo Stadium, with the winner a chance of climbing into the top four.
The Dolphins continue to be without star halfback Isaiya Katoa but experienced back up Brad Schneider is set to build on a solid performance in last week's one-point defeat to Newcastle.
Katoa's absence will see five-eighth Kodi Nikorima and hooker Jeremy Marshall-King take on greater playmaker duties, with the pair among the most creative players in the game.
Cronulla were impressive in a comprehensive victory over the Broncos last Saturday and they return to Brisbane for the second-straight week in search of another crucial win.
Halves Nicho Hynes and Braydon Trindall continue to pull the strings, while winger Sione Katoa has bounced back since returning from injury in the past month.

Team News
Dolphins: A swap on game day, with Tom Flegler to start at prop, shifting Felise Kaufusi back to the bench. John Fineanganofo drops from the squad. Jack Bostock was one of five Origin stars named in the reserves for the Dolphins, but the NSW winger will miss Saturday's clash after suffering a head knock. Maroons duo Max Plath and Thomas Flegler are confirmed to back up, with coach Kristian Woolf announcing his stars will be back in action at their captain's run. Maroons backline duo Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo will be rested. Bostock's absence will likely see Jake Averillo remain at centre. Interchange forward Ray Stone is also on track to line up after missing last week's loss to Newcastle due to soreness.
Sharks: A game day change, with Addin Fonua-Blake shifting back the the bench, with Oregon Kaufusi to start at prop. Jayden Berrell also moves onto the interchange from the reserves, with Niwhai Puru the player to make way. Queensland forward Briton Nikora left the field late on Wednesday for an HIA. The back-rower passed the test and returned to the action but coach Craig Fitzgibbon said on Friday that Nikora "got knocked around a bit" and would be given a break. NSW duo Blayke Brailey and Addin Fonua-Blake have been added to the starting side on Friday in No.22 and No.23. Jayden Berrell and Jesse Colquhoun (knee inflammation) make way. Niwhai Puru has been added to the six-man bench on Friday.
