Storm v Titans: Munster rested; Tino, Jojo backing up
After stringing together three wins on the bounce against the Roosters, Knights and Raiders, the Storm came crashing back to earth in a 30-4 loss to the Sea Eagles before the bye.
The absence of gun playmaker Jahrome Hughes was sorely felt against Manly and the danger for Melbourne is that they fall too far out of the eight while the No.7 is sidelined.
All eyes will be on Origin stars Harry Grant, Cameron Munster and Trent Loiero from Melbourne and Gold Coast's Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Jojo Fifita to see how they come through Game Three and then whether they back up in a crucial game for their clubs.
If the Titans are to prevail they will need to overturn a woeful record that has seen them lose eight of nine matches at AAMI Park, their only success coming in 2014 under the captaincy of Nate Myles and Greg Bird when they snuck home 28-26.

Storm: Coach Cameron Munster confirmed on Saturday that Cameron Munster won't back up from Origin Three while Harry Grant and Trent Loiero remain in the mix. Trent Toelau is the new five-eighth. Siulagi Tuimalatu-Brown has come in on the wing in No.21 with Manaia Waitere making way. The cavalry are returning for Melbourne, halfback Jahrome Hughes (hamstring) and centres Nick Meaney (calf) and Jack Howarth (quad) all on track to return to the field. Oryn Keeley will come off the bench in his first game for the Storm after being granted an early release by the Dolphins to join Melbourne.
Titans: Maroons duo Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Jojo Fifita are confirmed to back up in a massive boost for the Titans. Cooper Bai is on track to return from a concussion while former Storm winger Dean Ieremia is set to play his first NRL match since 2024 in place of Jaylan De Groot.
