Super Saturday: Dolphins v Sharks; Bulldogs v Raiders; Roosters v Eels

A massive Saturday of action as the race to the finals hots up with State of Origin in the rear-view mirror.

Plenty of Origin stars looking to back up for their club sides and grab a valuable two competition points, starting with the Dolphins and Sharks squaring off at Kayo Stadium.

From there we head to Sydney where the Bulldogs will look to pour more pain on last year's minor premiers Canberra, who entered the round in 13th spot and three wins outside the eight.

We bring it home in Roosters territory with Trent Robinson's men hosting a Parramatta outfit that continues to dig deep in the face of a horror injury toll?

After teaming up on Wednesday night at Suncorp Stadium, Blues stars James Tedesco and Mitch Moses now go head-to-head in an enthralling contest to bring down the curtain on Super Saturday.

Dolphins v Sharks at Kayo Stadium

9th min: A successful captain's challenge from the Dolphins after they were ruled to have knocked on, with the Bunker seeing it indeed came from the Sharks first.

6th min: Sharks are denied again, with Jesse Ramien forced over the sideline by some committed Dolphins defence. Cronulla are finding getting up to the Dolphins line an easy task at the moment, but are yet to convert to points.

4th min: Will Kennedy is denied the first try of the match after a promising start for the Sharks, with the referee ruling a double movement after he was tackled by Trai Fuller. Score remains 0-0.

Kick off: The Sharks kick off and the Dolphins have first use of the ball at home.

Late Mail

Dolphins:  A swap on game day, with Tom Flegler to start at prop, shifting Felise Kaufusi back to the bench. John Fineanganofo drops from the squad. Jack Bostock was one of five Origin stars named in the reserves for the Dolphins, but the NSW winger will miss Saturday's clash after suffering a head knock. Maroons duo Max Plath and Thomas Flegler are confirmed to back up, with coach Kristian Woolf announcing his stars will be back in action at their captain's run. Maroons backline duo Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow and Selwyn Cobbo will be rested. Bostock's absence will likely see Jake Averillo remain at centre. Interchange forward Ray Stone is also on track to line up after missing last week's loss to Newcastle due to soreness.

Sharks: A game day change, with Addin Fonua-Blake shifting back the the bench, with Oregon Kaufusi to start at prop. Jayden Berrell also moves onto the interchange from the reserves, with Niwhai Puru the player to make way. Queensland forward Briton Nikora left the field late on Wednesday for an HIA. The back-rower passed the test and returned to the action but coach Craig Fitzgibbon said on Friday that Nikora "got knocked around a bit" and would be given a break. NSW duo Blayke Brailey and Addin Fonua-Blake have been added to the starting side on Friday in No.22 and No.23 with Jayden Berrell dropping to the reserves and Jesse Colquhoun sent for scans on Friday for knee inflammation.
