Sunday arvo footy: Rabbitohs v Knights; Sea Eagles v Cowboys; Storm v Titans

We kick off our Sunday footy feast with a very special birthday party at Accor Stadium.

The rugby league community will unite for the World's Biggest Birthday Party as Jai Arrow celebrates his 31st birthday with South Sydney's clash with the Knights.

A big crowd is expected at Accor Stadium to celebrate the former Rabbitoh who was tragically diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease earlier this year.

From there we head to the Northern Beaches for Manly's clash with the Cowboys.

Kieran Foran's side suffered a shock loss to Parramatta last week and they're desperate to bounce back on their home turf.

A bumper Sunday triple-header concludes with a trip to Melbourne when the Storm host the Titans.

The two teams will head to Las Vegas for next year's season opener, with Sunday's match an early taste of what's to come at Allegiant Stadium in 2027.

Rabbitohs v Knights at Accor Stadium

29th minute: South Sydney have their third try down their right edge, David Fifita cannoning through. The punishing back-rower stepped past Knights centre Fletcher Sharpe in what was always going to be a mismatch. Rabbitohs 14 - Knights 0.

26th minute: Good news on the injury front for both teams with Trey Mooney passing his HIA and returning to the field. The Rabbitohs also expect Dayne Jennings to return with the winger suffering a cut to his knee. Once it's patched back up, he will likely return to the action. Meanwhile, South Sydney have another chance to extend their lead after a bomb bounced off Dom Young's head and into touch. Rabbitohs 10 - Knights 0.

18th minute: South Sydney have brought their attacking A-game today, with halfback Ashton Ward continuing to dissect the Knights' left edge. After going wide earlier, this time Ward has passed back inside to Junior Tatola. There was no stopping the rampaging prop, who slammed the ball down to extend his side's lead. Rabbitohs 10 - Knights 0.

17th minute: More drama with players from both sides down injured. Rabbitohs youngster Dayne Jennings has limped from the field with an apparent knee injury and has been replaced by Jye Gray, who lines up on the winger opposite Dom Young. Greg Marzhew is also receiving treatment after copping an accidental knee to the back. The Knight had just spilled the ball, handing South Sydney an attacking opportunity. Rabbitohs 4 - Knights 0.

14th minute: Newcastle have had another try-scoring opportunity come unstuck, with Dom Young placing a foot on the sideline as he raced down the right flank. The winger got to the outside of Dayne Jennings and looked to have done enough to set up the men inside him, but the touch judge correctly raised his flag when Young's boot hit the chalk. Rabbitohs 4 - Knights 0.

Campbell Graham Try

11th minute: The brief pause was not enough to halt South Sydney's momentum, the hosts executing a well-worked right-side shift to allow Campbell Graham to score in the corner. Ashton Ward did the work inside and Matt Dufty threw the cut out pass to Graham, who is making his return from a calf injury. Rabbitohs 4 - Knights 0.

10th minute: South Sydney are rolling down the field and have all the momentum but the game has been temporarily paused after Trey Mooney came off second best when tackling Junior Tatola. The Knights prop will leave the field for an HIA, with Tyson Frizell entering the fray. Rabbitohs 0 - Knights 0.

9th minute: They were denied a few minutes ago and Newcastle have been denied a second time. Kalyn Ponga looked to have scored the try but Dane Gagai made contact with Jayden Sullivan and it's another penalty for obstruction. Rabbitohs 0 - Knights 0.

5th minute: Newcastle look to have the opening points of the match, veteran Dane Gagai turning back the clock to slice through from inside his own half. The centre linked up with Fletcher Sharpe before Sandon Smith finished it off. Replays, however, show why Gagai was able to break through so easily, with Trey Mooney obstructing a defender. It's a Rabbitohs penalty back on the halfway line and they will have a chance to strike. Rabbitohs 0 - Knights 0.

Kick-off: The World's Biggest Birthday Party is underway, with the Rabbitohs kicking off to get the party started. South Sydney are desperate to honour Jai Arrow with a victory, while Newcastle have their sights on solidifying their place in the top four. Cam Murray and Kalyn Ponga are backing up following Wednesday's Origin decider but Bradman Best will miss the clash. Rabbitohs 0 - Knights 0.

Late Mail

Rabbitohs: South Sydney will line up 1-19, with NSW forward Cam Murray to back up as the Rabbitohs celebrate Jai Arrow's 31st birthday with the World's Biggest Birthday Party. Campbell Graham will make his return from a calf injury, while Jayden Sullivan replaces the suspended Cody Walker in the halves.

Knights: A couple of late changes for Newcastle, with NSW centre Bradman Best and back-rower Jermaine McEwen dropping out of the side. Fletcher Sharpe moves from five-eighth to centre, with Sandon Smith coming into the halves. McEwen has been ruled out due to hamstring tightness and will be replaced by Thomas Cant in the back-row. Newcastle will field just five players on the interchange.  Fullback Kalyn Ponga got through Wednesday's decider unscathed and will take his place in the Knights team on Sunday afternoon. Trey Mooney will return from a calf injury and replaces injured prop Jacob Saifiti.
