NRLW Late Mail: Round 4 - Broughton, Roache eyeing returns; Joseph on track

Warriors stars Gayle Broughton and Mele Hufanga are pushing to return from injury in Sundays clash with the Eels.

Broughton hasn't played since injuring her quad in the lead up to Round 2, while Hufanga has been sidelined all season with a hamstring injury.

The pair are in the extended squad as they look to make a comeback against Parramatta. The Eels have also received a major boost with Jillaroos and Maroons star Keilee Joseph set to play her first game of the season after recovering from a knee injury.

Across the league a host of big names are eyeing comebacks, with Amber Hall, Abigail Roache and Hollie-Mae Dodd in the mix to return this weekend.

Raiders: Hollie-Mae Dodd remains on the extended bench as she looks to return from a head knock that forced her out of last week's tight loss to the Roosters. The English international will likely come on to the bench if she is a late inclusion into the side. That could see last week's debutant Ellie Brander drop out of the 17. Charlotte Basham remains on the interchange and looks set to play despite leaving the field late last week with a leg injury.

Sharks: Rhiannon Byers has been added to the reserves as she pushes to return from a shoulder injury and could come into the squad closer to game day. Maddison Higgins-Ashby has been named at centre and is set to retain that role after impressing in place of Tiana Penitani Gray last week. It's been a winless start to the year but the Sharks have won all three games played against the Raiders.

Hopkins came off the interchange in her only appearance this year and could be added to the bench closer to kick-off.
