As it happened: Sharks run rampant; Titans terrific

Full-time: The Sharks have cemented themselves in the top four with a massive 48-12 win over the Sea Eagles.

78th min: On the back of a penalty for Will Kennedy taking out a kick chaser, the Sea Eagles put the ball through the hands to the right but the pass to Jason Saab goes behind the winger and into touch.

76th min: The Sea Eagles are playing some good footy at the back end of this one, breaking tackles and getting some second phase play to make the Sharks work it out of their own end.

74th min: The Sea Eagles have a consolation try through Joey Walsh, who takes them on with a left-foot step and breaks three tackles on his way to the line. Jamal Fogarty makes the conversion. Sharks lead 48-12.

72nd min: Nicho Hynes is running rampant and breaks the line again, but throws a wild offload once the defence gets to him and Sione Katoa can't control it when diving for the ball on the ground. 

70th min: The Sea Eagles get their chance to attack and send it left, but Lehi Hopoate's pass is too far in front of Reuben Garrick on the wing and he puts it down.

69th min: KL Iro is on his way downfield again but this time the cutout pass under pressure from Nicho Hynes travels forward.

65th min: The Sharks have another one. KL Iro is on the score sheet, chasing the Braydon Trindall grubber kick and grounding it just before the dead ball line. The visitors have been given more opportunities due to errors from the Sea Eagles. Nicho Hynes nails his eighth conversion of the day to hit 20 individual points so far. Sharks lead 48-6.

60th min: The Sea Eagles haven't stopped playing footy, but it's not coming off for them as a Joel Walsh pass lands at the toes of Lehi Hopoate and he can't gather the ball.

Injury update: Hohepa Puru is sent for HIA after a head clash with Joey Walsh, which caused a nasty cut to open up.

55th min: The Sharks break away through Jesse Ramien and look certain to score, but Tolu Koula gets between the pass inside to shut down the threat.

52nd min: It's try number seven for the Sharks. Nicho Hynes has a bit of a space 40m out and he teaches young Joey Walsh, throwing the dummy and going straight past the young buck, then finds Siosifa Talakai in support to score a try under the posts. Hynes adds two points to his tally. Sharks lead 42-6.

48th min: The Sea Eagles get in position for an attacking kick and Joey Walsh puts a long grubber through, but it's too heavy and goes dead in goal. It's an aspect they have struggled with all afternoon, giving away five seven tackle sets in this manner.

45th min: It's too easy for the Sharks at the moment. Ronaldo Mulitalo has a second try on the back of some neat footwork from Nicho Hynes, who steps inside the rushing defence of Josh Feledy and throws a long pass to his winger to score. The opportunity came on the back of a penalty for a high tackle from Feledy on Sione Katoa. Hynes does it again from the sideline. Sharks lead 36-6.

42nd min: The Sharks look to have the first opportunity to attack after forcing the error from Lehi Hopoate after he fielded a Nicho Hynes bomb. The referee originally gave a penalty for a strip, but the replays show the kick chasers were offside.

Injury update: Ben Trbojevic won't be back after failing his HIA.

Half-time: The Sharks are in cruise control at 4 Pines Park after a clinical half indicative of their top four status. Every time they've had a chance, they've iced them and done enough in defence to keep the Sea Eagles from taking advantage at the other end. The injection of Addin Fonua-Blake midway through the first half with the scoreline at 12-6 proved a turning point for the Sharks to go up a gear and silence the home crowd.

Injury update: Ben Trbojevic is off for a HIA after coming off second best attempting to tackle a charging Siosifa Talakai.

39th min: They've done it again, the Sharks! This time it's Sione Katoa who gets the four-pointer with the ball going through the hands of Nicho Hynes, Will Kennedy and Briton Nikora before finding the Sharks winger. It came the set following the Sea Eagles kicking out on the full off the kick-off from the previous try. Hynes swings it in from the sideline. Sharks lead 30-6.

36th min: On the following set, the Sharks are over through Nicho Hynes! Instead of passing it on, he decides to tuck it under the arm and uses his strength to drag a few Sea Eagles defenders over the line and somehow gets the ball to ground to score. Hynes converts the try. Sharks lead 24-6.

34th min: Briton Nikora fights off a couple of defenders and gets an offload away to Jesse Ramien, who breaks the line. He gets a kick away intended for himself, fielded by Reuben Garrick, who is driven in goal.

32nd min: Addin Fonua-Blake has been a beast since coming off the bench and he's crossed the stripe, but lost the ball over the line thanks to the efforts of Lehi Hopoate to stop him reaching out.

30th min: The Sea Eagles get another attacking opportunity and the last tackle bomb goes across to Jason Saab, who catches it but is immediately taken into touch in a win for the Sharks defence.

27th min: The Sharks hit straight back through Ronaldo Mulitalo, who receives an exceptional harbour bridge ball from Braydon Trindall to finish a backline movement. It came after Lehi Hopoate spilled a bomb under no pressure to gift the visitors the field position. Nicho Hynes converts the try from the sideline. Sharks lead 18-6.

22nd min: Tolu Koula scores an opportunistic try to get the Sea Eagles on the board. Manly is making inroads in attack with speed men Lehi Hopoate and Koula himself causing some havoc. He gets the reward following a Jamal Fogarty cross field kick taken by Garrick, who gets the ball back to Koula to ground the loose ball. Fogarty converts the try from out wide. Sharks lead 12-6.

20th min: The Sea Eagles get a penalty and take the quick tap to give them momentum close to the line. Jake Simpkin throws a short ball to a charging Lehi Hopoate, but the Manly No.1 spills the ball in contact.

17th min: What a try from the Sharks! Will Kennedy is the one who dots it down, but it started with a Nicho Hynes bomb knocked back by Sione Katoa back to Blayke Brailey, he trips over, gets up and passes to Hynes, who shovels it to Jesse Colquhoun, gets it to Oregon Kaufusi who looks certain to score, but he gets away a looping pass at the last minute for Kennedy. Hynes converts from under the posts. Sharks lead 12-0.

14th min: The Sharks make the error in their own half to give Manly a chance in good ball. It finds Haumole Olaka'atu out wide and when KL Iro downs him one-on-one, the ball pops out of the grasp of the Origin backrower.

12th min: Teig Wilton is over to open the scoring for the Sharks. It comes a play after Ronaldo Mulitalo bumped off a defender on a hit-up and ran 70m up the field. The Sharks smartly got the ball across field to Braydon Trindall, who popped a short ball to Wilton to stroll over. Nicho Hynes converts the try. Sharks lead 6-0.

9th min: The Sea Eagles march down the field after a ruck infringement from the Sharks. Jamal Fogarty launches a bomb intended for Jason Saab at the end of it, but Ronaldo Mulitalo wins the contest for the ball.

5th min: The Sharks see attacking territory off the back of a set restart in their own end. A slick backline move has KL Iro running against the grain to catch out the Sea Eagles, but he's tackled and it will be a changeover.

2nd min: The Sea Eagles go into the red zone on their first use of the ball off the back of a set restart and at the end of it, Will Kennedy shows impressive calmness to see a Joey Walsh grubber kick over the dead ball line.

Kickoff: We're underway on a beautiful afternoon for Golden Eagles Day at 4 Pines Park.

Sea Eagles: Hooker Nic Lenaz has come into the starting side on game day for first game as a Sea Eagle and second career game after debuting with the Cowboys last year. Jake Simpkin goes to the bench. Onitoni Large has been added to the six-man bench in No.20. Lehi Hopoate takes over at fullback from Tom Trbojevic (hamstring). Tolu Koula goes to the wing and Josh Feledy is the new centre. Back-rower Ben Trbojevic is back from a concussion so Ethan Bullemor slides to the bench. The Sea Eagles are chasing their 1000th win since 1947 and their 500th victory at 4 Pines Park.

Sharks: Tom Hazelton (back stiffness) has come out of the side and will be replaced by Oregon Kaufusi. Prop Addin Fonua-Blake left the field twice last week with a pectoral issue but he looks to be right to go for Sunday. He will come off the bench and Jesse Colquhoun will start in his return from a knee injury. Jesse Ramien (illness) and Siosifa Talakai (elbow) also return.

Dragons v Titans at St George Venues Jubilee Stadium, Kogarah

Full-time: The Titans take back-to-back wins for the first time this year, completing an impressive 38-18 win.

79th min: The Titans put their stamp on this one through skipper Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, who receives a bullet pass from Sam Verrills to get through the line untouched. Jayden Campbell converts from adjacent the posts. Titans lead 38-18.

76th min: Hamish Stewart waltzes into the in-goal off a pass from Lyhkan King-Togia, but before he can put the ball down, the pass is called forward.

73rd min: The Dragons earn another opportunity to attack and it comes to Setu Tu on last tackle. He quickly puts it to his boot and is tackled while chasing through the ball which eventually goes into touch. A Captain's Challenge finds Phil Sami tackled Tu on the chase and the penalty goes to the Dragons. They can't take advantage, with Daniel Atkinson, playing right centre with Mathew Feagai off the field, putting the ball down.

69th min: The Dragons haven't given up and Jacob Liddle is the beneficiary of some great work down their left side. Lyhkan King-Togia has come on and added some spark, going to Valentine Holmes, who slices through and finds Liddle on his inside shoulder in support. Holmes converts the try. Titans lead 32-18.

66th min: The Titans are in cruise control with the ball in hand, making easy metres down the field and getting good kicks on the end of their sets to continually make the Dragons work it off their own line.

62nd min: It's the Jayden Campbell show at Kogarah. The Titans No.6 just glides across field, dummies to the inside runner of Keano Kini, dummies outside to Jaylan De Groot and goes straight through the Dragons untouched to score one of his own. Campbell converts his own try. Titans lead 32-12.

58th min: The Titans have done it again from distance. This time they're 40m out and Jayden Campbell turns it inside to Keano Kini, he comes back against the grain, is grabbed in a tackle, gets the offload to Chris Randall who steps past a few defenders and finds Oliver Pascoe in support to score under the posts. Campbell converts. Titans lead 26-12.

55th min: The Dragons turn defence into attack with another spread to the left puts Tyrell Sloan away. He kicks and the ball is fielded by Oliver Pascoe in cover, then he throws a one-handed offload in goal to Jaylan De Groot and the centre somehow makes his way out to safety.

54th min: The Titans go into the red zone again after a penalty on Ryan Couchman for high shot on Keano Kini. Zane Harrison puts it high across field on the end of it but it's put down by Phil Sami.

51st min: The Titans extend their lead with another penalty goal. After an incorrect play-the-ball from Dragons winger Tyrell Sloan, Zane Harrison gets hit late after passing and earns the penalty. Jayden Campbell slots the goal from just off centre, 28m out. Titans lead 20-12. 

48th min: The Dragons have a great set out of their own end, with Tyrell Sloan finding some space down the left wing. A Clint Gutherson kick is fielded by Jacob Liddle at the end of the set, and he gets a second kick away but it's cleaned up by the Titans.

45th min: The Dragons survive after some outside-inside play between Titans halves Zane Harrison and Jayden Campbell, the latter finding Keano Kini, but his slick offload goes forward.

44th min: The Titans will get the first chance to go deep on attack after a last tackle kick from Daniel Atkinson skews off the side of his boot and out on the full.

42nd min: Both teams have come out of half time strongly with solid sets and kicks forcing the backs to do plenty of work.

Half-time: The Titans go into the sheds with a six-point lead after an exciting first half. The visitors were dynamic with the ball in hand, launching multiple successful attacking raids from their own half, resulting in them taking a 16-6 lead midway through the half. The Dragons kept grinding and proved stronger through the middle, making plenty of metres to give them attacking opportunities. Clint Gutherson has had a key role in both Dragons tries to keep them in the contest, but they will need to step up their discipline and close the gaps in their defence to give themselves a chance in the second half.

37th min: Jayden Campbell adds two points from a penalty goal after Hamish Stewart gets his foot to an Oliver Pascoe grubber bound for the in-goal, but the ball ends up in the hands of Toby Couchman, who is in front of Stewart. Titans lead 18-12.

35th min: The Dragons are making their way downfield with ease off some second-phase play but just before they can get to their kick, Jacob Halangahu puts it down.

33rd min: The Dragons hit back and the milestone man again has his hands all over it. This time Clint Gutherson is the playmaker giving a short ball to Hamish Stewart, who draws the fullback and passes to Kyle Flanagan in support to score under the sticks. Valentine Holmes converts. Titans lead 16-12.

31st min: The Dragons are putting in some solid sets with the ball, kicking into corners and forcing the Titans to work it from their own end. But the Titans look threatening every time they touch the ball, players constantly poking their heads through the line.

27th min: Jaylan De Groot has a double! It comes after Phil Sami, working it out of his own end, throws a short ball to Kini who breaks through and is wrapped up by Clint Gutherson, but he gets an offload to Josh Patston fresh on the field. After he's tackled, the Titans go back to their trusty left and Jayden Campbell finds Jaylan De Groot, who neatly steps Gutherson for another try. Campbell converts from in front. Titans lead 16-6.

25th min: The Dragons get a chance to launch an attack on the Titans line but an inside ball from Clint Gutherson to Valentine Holmes is spilled.

21st min: After receiving a repeat set for forcing a dropout, the Dragons go long and Tino Fa'asuamaleaui breaks a tackle on return, but his offload finds Dragons winger Setu Tu.

20th min: The Titans get a chance in the attacking zone after a Zane Harrison bomb goes close to the sideline, forcing Clint Guthertson to make to grab, and the chasers bundle him into touch.

18th min: The Dragons are making good metres downfield and on last tackle Daniel Atkinson chasing through a long bomb snares the kick and offloads back to Damien Cook but the second kick cross field is marked by Dean Ieremia.

14th min: It's deja vu on the left side for the Titans and this time it's Jaylan De Groot who gets in for the try. This time it was Chris Randall hitting Beau Fermor short, Jayden Campbell getting the offload on the outside and then drawing Clint Gutheron to pass to De Groot, who scores under the posts. Campbell converts the try. Titans lead 10-6.

10th min: The Titans hit right back through Phil Sami. With not too much doing from a play the ball just their own side of half way, Jayden Campbell hits Beau Fermor and the second rower pokes his nose through between two defenders. Fermor offloads to Kini, who quickly finds Campbell again, who draws and passes to Sami for the try in the corner. Campbell can't convert from the sideline. Dragons lead 6-4.

7th min: The milestone man helps the Dragons get on the board first through Tyrell Sloan. After a penalty assisted their move into Titans attacking territory, Gutherson identifies Dean Ieremia failing to get to marker and goes short side from dummy half. 'King' gets the offload away to Tyrell Sloan to score in the corner. Valentine Holmes converts from the sideline. Dragons lead 6-0.

4th min: The Dragons' first attacking raid doesn't cause too many troubles, with Hamish Stewart putting down a short ball from Daniel Atkinson.

3rd min: 40/20! Daniel Atkinson launches one and beat the Titans fullback Keano Kini to give the Dragons the first use on attack.

Kickoff: We're underway on a sunny Sunday afternoon in Kogarah for Clint Gutherson's 250th game.

Dragons: Just the one late change to Dean Young's side in his first game as fully minted head coach, with prop Emre Guler elevated from the reserves to the interchange in place of Moses Suli. Fullback Clint Gutherson will play his 250th NRL game. 

Titans: No late changes for the Titans on game day. Kurtis Morrin will have to wait another week to return from a leg injury, so Siale Faeamani is on the six-man bench for the trip to Kogarah, where he's looking to play his first NRL since Round 9. Jaylan De Groot is in the centres in place of AJ Brimson, who suffered a Category 1 head knock against the Sea Eagles.
