The Dragons and Wests Tigers enter this Round 6 clash after a mixed bag of results at Magic Round.

St George Illawarra were heavily beaten by the Roosters in Round 5, while the Tigers impressed in their 32-20 win over the Sharks.

For the Dragons, defensive improvement will be the primary focus. They have struggled to contain some of the competition's elite attacking teams and now face another side capable of posting points quickly.

The Tigers continue to emerge as one of the season's surprise packets. Their attacking confidence has grown each week, and several key wins have positioned them firmly in finals contention.

Territory and discipline will likely determine the result of this one. The Tigers have been most dangerous when playing in the right areas of the field, while the Dragons need to reduce errors and force their opponents to work harder for opportunities.

Dragons: The loss of centre Tyra Ekepati to a head knock will see Tahlia O'Brien shift from the interchange to the starting side. Charis Toli (on debut) and Trinity Tauaneai are the new faces on the interchange as St George Illawarra chase their second win of the season.

Wests Tigers: Minimal changes to the side that secured a big win over the Sharks last week, with Shaniece Monschau promoted to start at lock, following the suspension of Holli Wheeler. On the bench, there has been a slight shuffle, with Portia Bourke coming on the the interchange along with Brooke Talataina, reverting Tyla Amiatu to the reserves.
