Broncos v Roosters: Robbo good to go; Aiken hits 50
It doesn't get much bigger than this.
First hosts second in a blockbuster grand final rematch, with both clubs arriving from vastly different Round 6 experiences.
The Roosters reinforced their status as competition leaders with a dominant 46-6 victory over Parramatta. Tarryn Aiken starred on her return from injury and the Tricolours extended their undefeated start to six consecutive wins.
Brisbane, meanwhile, suffered their first loss since Round 5 last season when Canberra stunned the reigning premiers 28-4 in a major upset. The Broncos were unable to generate their usual attacking flow, and Round 7 offers an immediate chance to respond.
Few teams know each other better than these sides. Both possess elite attacking threats and representative players across the park, setting up a contest that could easily preview the 2026 decider.
The Roosters carry momentum, but the Broncos have built a reputation on bouncing back from adversity. Expect finals-like intensity at Suncorp Stadium.

Broncos: With hooker Jada Ferguson unavailable after suffering a head knock in last week's upset loss against the Raiders, Rhemy Hinckesman will make her first start at hooker. Other changes see Lillian Yarrow promoted to starting lock, shifting Bree Spreadborough the the bench. In a boost, Julia Robinson has been named to take her place at centre, despite being unable to finish last week's match. Tara McGrath-West and Harlem Walker are the new faces on the interchange, with Reegan Hicks moving to 18th player. Origin hooker Destiny Brill has been listed in the reserves.
Roosters: No changes to the 1-17 for coach John Strange following last week's win as his side gears up for the rematch of the 2025 grand final. Five-eighth Jocelyn Kelleher left the field before full-time in the victory over the Eels with a quad injury, but she is back in action this week. The only change to the squad sees Nikiah Campbell named as 18th player in place of Mia Wood.
