While the Roosters were tested last week, Brydie Parker showcased her finishing brilliance, crossing the line for a hat-trick to help her side get one back against Brisbane.

The only undefeated team in the competition this year, the Roosters have been in top form once again this season, with the side’s 34-20 win against the Broncos highlighting the depth of coach John Strange’s squad.

Their 34-20 comeback victory at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night saw the four try scorers across the team, but it was Parker who shone on the wing.

Throughout this year’s campaign, Parker has scored six tries in seven appearances across both the fullback and wing positions, crediting the backing from her coach for giving her the confidence to play whatever role is needed.

“I suppose I've actually played across a few different positions,” Parker said.

"I like the ability to play those positions that I have and my main focus is whatever's best for the team,” Parker said.

“One thing Strange is really good at, is giving you the confidence to know that you can cover multiple positions.

"I love that he's built that about me in my game and that versatility … I know that's something that people look for.

“To be able to do that and for him to have the confidence in me to be able to do that, I'm very grateful for that.”

Captain Isabelle Kelly was full of praise for her teammate following the win, speaking about how selfless Parker was when it comes to her fellow squad members.

“I think Bryds [Parker] is the ultimate teammate,” Kelly said.

"I was actually thinking about this randomly this morning to be honest. I think she's just one of those people that you always want to play with.

“In warm up, we do an attack and defence drills, she’s always someone that would go defensive so the girls can get their reps in with attacking.”

Parker has notched up 48 games for the Sydney club since the NRLW’s inception in 2018, however in 2022, she was ruled out for the season with an ACL injury she suffered in the 2021 grand final.

Having been part of both the 2021 and 2024 premierships with the club, the outside back feels her side still has so much more to come.

“I think we're just building every week,” Parker said.

"It's been a really tough competition so far and we've been challenged each week as everyone brings their best game against us.

" I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can build across the next few weeks and heading to finals.”

The Roosters take on the Warriors on Sunday at home, in a game that is expected to be full of flair with both sides touted with prolific try scorers.

“They're going to be a very strong, tough, physical side to come up against,” Parker said.

"I think every week we just go in focusing on us and that'll be the focus again.

“I think our team really strung together in that second half (of the Broncos match).

"We were down at half-time, so to come back and bounce back and put the scoreline that we did … I think we’ll build a lot of confidence out of that.

“I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can do on the park next.

“As long as we capitalise off our opportunities, I know we can achieve great things.”
