Titans v Rabbitohs: Patston back on deck; Trell nears return
The Rabbitohs are in the danger zone in seventh position heading into Round 26 and confront an unpredictable opponent capable of running up a score on their day.
A win on the Gold Coast will secure the Rabbitohs a finals spot for the first time since 2022 but a loss could leave them vulnerable pending other results over the weekend.
The Titans enjoyed something of a revival with wins over the Panthers (Rd 16), Sea Eagles (Rd 20) and Dragons (Rd 21) but four losses on the trot have dropped them from 13th to 16th and undone some of Josh Hannay's good work.
With two games at home to finish the season the Titans will be out to give their fans hope for better times ahead in 2027 and also upset the apple cart for the Rabbitohs and Titans in the process.

Titans: Back-rower Beau Fermor suffered a rib injury against the Sharks and is replaced by Josh Patston in the only change to the 19-man squad. Patston is back on deck after missing last week's game due to concussion.
Rabbitohs: A welcome sight in jersey No.19 with superstar Latrell Mitchell set to return after 12 games on the sideline due to nerve issues in his lower back which have affected his leg and calf. Also named on the interchange are Jamie Humphreys (ankle) and Adam Elliott (groin) while Jai Arrow is part of the squad in No.23 as he 'plays' his 99th game for the Rabbitohs. Arrow has been named co-captain and will suit up for, and take part in, the opening seconds of this week's match and again in Round 27 to allow him to rack up 100 games for the Bunnies.
