Cowboys v Roosters: Banu boost; Pule's milestone match
North Queensland face one of the toughest assignments of the round when they host the unbeaten Roosters in Townsville.
The Cowboys were outplayed by Newcastle in Round 9, falling 40-6 and surrendering momentum at a critical point of the season.
The Roosters, meanwhile, extended their perfect season with a commanding 36-8 win over the Sharks. The competition leaders continue to find ways to dominate matches through disciplined defence and clinical execution.
North Queensland need to show the spark they displayed during the middle stages of the season and lift in execution to challenge the Roosters.
The Roosters will look to control territory, force repeat sets and capitalise on errors. Their consistency has set them apart this year and they enter Round 10 chasing a 10th consecutive win.
If the Cowboys can start strongly and use the Townsville crowd to their advantage, they may be able to make the contest uncomfortable.

Cowboys: Mixed news for the Cowboys who have a lot of changes this week. Essay Banu is back to bolster the front row, while Charlize Lloyd-Phillips returns after a week with work on the wing. Representative centre Jasmine Peters is out with concussion, as is Indigenous All Stars captain Tallisha Harden, with a finger injury. Hailee-Jay Ormond-Maunsell is the new centre, with Kayla Jackon shifting from wing to the second row. Lily Dick goes back to the bench.
Roosters: No changes for John Strange with the same 1-18 from last week's win over the Sharks to take the field again. Winger Brydie Parker and centre Jess Sergis both scored doubles and are back again in a potent backline.
