Canberra return home after a frustrating 26-20 loss to the Titans while Parramatta enter this clash after going down 44-10 to the Broncos.

While the Raiders mounted a late comeback and showed plenty of character, they ultimately left without the two competition points in a match that could prove significant ladder-wise.

Meanwhile, the Eels have battled hard this season but have found consistency difficult to maintain against the top sides.

For Canberra, their ability to fight back against the Titans demonstrated their determination and resilience. This clash is an opportunity for them to quickly regain momentum.

The Eels will need to improve defensively after conceding eight tries to Brisbane. Limiting Canberra's second-phase opportunities and controlling field position will be key to causing an upset.

Team News

Raiders: Bobbi Law's return from a hand injury has been locked in but the Raiders have made a slight reshuffle in the backline from Saturday's 24-hour update. Law came into the side on the wing but will now line up in the centres, with Isabella Waterman shifting to the wing. Elise Simpson dropped out of the squad with an ongoing ankle injury in Saturday's update. The Green Machine welcome back Charlotte Basham into the second row, seeing Hollie-Mae Dodd shift back to the bench, with Lili Boyle reverting to the 18th player role.

Eels: A couple of late changes for the Eels, with Layne Morgan shifting from the bench to start at hooker, Chloe Jackson coming into the back-row and Rueben Cherrington added to the interchange. Fontayne Tufuga moves to the bench and Taneka Todhunter drops out of the squad. The side welcomed back Kennedy Cherrington in last week's loss to the Broncos and she is named on the bench alongside sister Rueben.
