NRL Telstra Premiership 2026 Finals Series Week One

The National Rugby League (NRL) today confirmed the times and venues for the 2026 NRL Telstra Premiership Finals Series Week One matches.

Featuring in Week One will be the following match-ups:

  • South Sydney Rabbitohs facing Newcastle Knights in an Elimination Final on Friday night at Allianz Stadium.
  • New Zealand Warriors against the Dolphins on Saturday in the earlier match at Go Media Stadium.
  • Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks hosting North Queensland Cowboys at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.
  • Minor Premiers Penrith Panthers facing Sydney Roosters in a massive Sydney derby on Sunday afternoon at CommBank Stadium.

“The NRL Telstra Premiership 2026 regular season has been the most attended and most watched ever,” ARLC Chairman Peter V’landys AM said.

“Well over four million people attended Premiership matches and more than 150 million people watched our Premiership games.

"The Minor Premiership came down to the final match in the final round of the regular season. Congratulations to Penrith Panthers on a fourth minor premiership in seven years.

“The game is in a brilliant position. It is the number one sport in Australia and the Pacific and is continuing to grow in Australia, New Zealand and in other parts of the world.

“It has never been more popular and our fans will be rewarded with a Finals Series filled with highlights from the best athletes on the planet.”

The NRL has also announced the Sharks-Dragons Round 11 NRLW match would be shifted to Allianz Stadium on Saturday, 12 September at 5.10pm to create a double-header.

Tickets will be on sale for all Week One matches to the competing clubs’ ticketed members at 10am AEST on Monday (September 7), followed by competing clubs’ non-ticketed members and NRL Account Holders at 4pm AEST on Monday.

Finals Series tickets will be on sale to General Public at 10am AEST on Tuesday (September 8) at www.nrl.com/tickets.

Tickets are available from $29 for adults and $79 for families across all Finals venues in week one.

All matches in Week One of the NRL Telstra Premiership 2026 Finals Series will be broadcast live on the Nine Network, Fox League, Kayo Sports, 9NOW and Sky NZ.
