Millie Elliott will reach a major NRLW milestone on Saturday night and there couldn’t be a better stage for her 50th game than a sudden-death semi-final.
The Roosters star will bring up her half-century against the Raiders, marking seven seasons in the NRLW and a career that already includes four premierships, 12 NSW appearances and four Australian caps.
And with Elliott having announced she will retire at the end of the season, her 50th NRLW game could be one of the final chapters of a career that has helped shape the women’s game.

For best mate Keely Nizza, who joined the Roosters alongside Elliott in 2023, the occasion will be particularly special.
“It’s been a long journey for Mill. She has been such a huge part of the NRLW, she’s one of the faces of the game,” Nizza said.
“I’ve played a lot of footy against her and she’s an absolute powerhouse. To be able to play alongside her for her 50th will be unreal.
“She is such a leader. To have her back this year, she has come in seamlessly. She’s always a huge part of our squad and our team.
“To have her back on the field has been incredible and the way she has been able to influence the playing group.”

Elliott’s 50th game comes after a remarkable return to the footy field following the birth of her daughter Gigi.
The 28-year-old bounced back with ease, earning another NSW Origin jersey and has played a key role in the Roosters’ perfect season as they chase another shot at a premiership.

Baxter made her own return to the NRLW after having a child in 2022 and has been blown away by what Elliott has produced this season.
“Strangey laughed about it earlier this week. She’s part machine, she’s just so fit and the way she has come back after having Gigi,” Baxter said.
“Millie is on another level.
“We had kids then came back and I’m proud to be one of those players, and it’s great to see Millie do the same thing.
“She has come back stronger than ever.”

The Tricolours turn their attention to the Raiders and a sudden-death clash that will determine whether the Rooters’ unbeaten season continues into a grand final.
“We have tunnel vision this week,” Nizza said.
“We have been looking at how we can be better from the last time we played.
“As soon as we knew who we were versing, we started looking at how we can improve from our last performance.”
