Roosters v Broncos: Fressard good to go; No changes for Prince

Here we go again with the Roosters and Broncos facing off in the final game of the year.

This will be the fourth time these two sides have met in the decider, with both being strong foundation clubs.

This year, the minor premiership winning Roosters side come into the decider off the back of another perfect season, winning every game of the regular season.

But as history will tell us, that didn't mean anything in last year's grand final, with the Broncos scoring a try late in the game to seal their fourth premiership title.

This year, the Broncos come into the defining match having had to go the long way, with a mid-season wobble seeing them drop three straight matches as champion half Ali Brigginshaw served a suspension.

However, September football has sparked the team back into action, with two dominant performances against the Knights and Titans in their finals earning them their place to try and defend their crown.

This game also holds extra meaning for both teams, with it to be the final game in the NRLW for Brigginshaw and Roosters duo Corban Baxter and Millie Elliott.

Both teams will be doing all they can to send their team-mates out of the game with another trophy.

Team News

Roosters: The Roosters go with the same squad that took care of business against the Raiders. Winger Jayme Fressard was sent for scans after injuring shoulder late in the first half of the preliminary final but has been named to play. Mia Wood is listed as 18th player and would be the likely replacement should Fressard fail to come up. Keighley Simpson hasn't played since Round 1 due to a knee injury but is also listed among the reserves.

Broncos: The defending premiers have named an unchanged side for their tilt at a fifth NRLW title. Ali Brigginshaw lines up in the halves for the final game of her decorated career. Caitlin Urwin is again the 18th player while Tara McGrath-West, Linneke Gevers, Breaana Eales and Amanii Misa are the reserves.
