Simaima Taufa

Simaima started playing rugby league in 2014 after coming from a rugby union background, as she enjoyed the physicality of Rugby League.

Simaima debuted for New South Wales and the Harvey Norman Jillaroos later that year and has been a mainstay in both teams ever since.

Simaima was named the 2017 Dally M Female Player of the Year, the RLPA Women's Player of the Year and the NSWRL Women's Player of the Year.

Simaima played lock for NSW in the inaugural Women's Holden State of Origin and in 2018 Simaima signed with the Roosters for the first Women's Premiership.
