Corey Jensen’s rugby league career started with humble beginnings in North Queensland, where he played his junior football for the Bowen Seagulls.
Having moved to Ignatius Park College for Grade 12, his potential was quickly recognised leading to a contract with the North Queensland Cowboys.
After progressing through the Cowboys’ Under 20s system and Queensland Cup, the middle forward made his NRL debut in 2017 and went on to play 58 games for the club — including the 2017 Grand Final appearance.
When an opportunity with the Broncos arose, Jensen made the decision to relocate more than a thousand kilometres away from his family — a career-defining move that has since seen him play almost 100 games in Brisbane colours.
He has built his reputation on work ethic, toughness and unwavering consistency which was recognised in 2024 when he received the Kevin Walters Medal for ‘Most Consistent Player’.
Widely regarded as the “ultimate professional” and a “valuable leader” within the squad, Jensen committed his future to the club by signing a two-year extension which will keep him at the Broncos until the end of the 2027 season.
