Michael ‘Madge’ Maguire is an accomplished NRL coach with a reputation for building disciplined, resilient teams.
In 2025 - his first season at the helm of the Broncos - Maguire delivered immediate success, steering the Club to its first NRL premiership in 19-years.
The team won 18 games across the season, including a seven-game unbeaten run leading in to and including finals.
Maguire is known for his commitment to high-performance cultures, and his coaching resume also includes leading the South Sydney Rabbitohs to their historic 2014 NRL Premiership win, their first in 43 years.
He has also excelled at a representative level, coaching the New Zealand Kiwis to a Pacific Championships victory over Australia in 2023, and leading New South Wales to a State of Origin series win in 2024.
