Local junior Jethro Rinakama (Bulldog no.876) burst onto the scene in 2025, with the 18-year-old scoring a hat-trick of tries across the Club's two Pre-Season Challenge matches. Despite still being able to qualify for the Club's SG Ball Cup side, Rinakama made his NRL debut in the Round 19 victory against the North Queensland Cowboys, scoring a try in the 12-8 victory.
