Since winning the club’s Rookie of the Year award in 2024 Strange excelled to new heights in 2025, winning the Dally M Five-Eighth of the Year award and earning selection into the Australian Ashes squad to face England.

In just his second full season of NRL, Strange was a breakout star for the Canberra side becoming 2025’s top try-scorer at the club with 14. His efforts were a key factor in the Raiders’ Minor Premiership success in 2025.

Having already represented Australia in a Prime Minister’s XIII clash in Papua New Guinea, Strange pushes for further representative honours moving forward as he looks to continue his rapid growth.

Strange signed a contract extension in 2024 which will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2028 season.
