A Western Suburbs Red Devils junior, O’Brien earns a promotion up to the club’s Top 24 squad in 2026 having impressed in her maiden NRLW season a year ago.
The teenager helped lead Illawarra to a Tarsha Gale Cup Preliminary Final in 2025 before representing Under 19s Country and being a part of NSW's Under 19s Origin squad.
O’Brien last year made the leap up to a development contract last season and was rewarded with an NRLW debut in Round 6 against the Sharks going on to make three appearances.
The 19-year-old represented the Under 19s Blues earlier this year and is under contract with the Red V until at least the end of the 2027 season.
