NRL Uluru Statement from the Heart
The Uluru Statement was issued in 2017 on behalf of First Nations peoples and is an incredibly personal and important proclamation to the Governments and peoples of Australia. Today is the third anniversary of the Uluru Statement launch. The NRL joined 13 other leading Australian organisations in publicly pledging their support for the statement.
National Rugby League respects and honours the Traditional Custodians of the land and pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples on the lands we meet, gather and play on.
