Kieran Foran made his return in Round 11 against the Storm.

Warriors managing director Jim Doyle has responded to claims the club is looking to recruit former Eels five-eighth Kieran Foran for next season.

The New Zealand international has taken a break from the game for personal reasons and been released by Parramatta.

Doyle said he had maintained contact with Foran for a number of years and that the Warriors would be intested in signing him if and when he made a return to the game.

"I've talked to Kieran more regularly this year to offer support as he dealt with personal challenges he was facing. His wellbeing has been the focus," Doyle said.

"When Kieran decides he's ready to resume his playing career, we'll certainly be interested in talking to him further."
